22.01.2022 A huge and heartfelt thank you to all of you who’ve offered us so much support over the last 2 weeks. We’re so pleased to be able to say that the Sapphire Coas...t is open for business again and we’re really looking forward to welcoming you back. It’s been pretty easy to get a car park in Merimbula this last week (unheard of I hear you say..) and the locals are really missing the usual buzz that our wonderful visitors and friends bring to our towns and villages every summer. Now that you can, we hope you’ll come back soon for a day, a week or even more. There’s lots of options to stay, shop, eat and just enjoy.Thank you xx https://www.sapphirecoast.com.au/ Merimbula Visitor Information Centre Visit Tathra Bermagui Visitor Information Centre Eden Visitor Information Centre Pambula Village David Rogers Please be sure to check road closures before departing or planning a trip in the immediate future via www.livetraffic.com (NSW) or https://traffic.vicroads.vic.gov.au/ (VIC) as some roads are still closed and stay up to date on conditions via the NSW Rural Fire Service page. 10.01.2022 Neil, Fletcher and I would like to offer our Beach Retreat to a few Volunteer Firefighters for a mid week mini break with their families, a small gesture to say thankyou for the family time you have given up to protect our communities from fire threats during this holiday season. Please direct message me if you know a volunteer firefighter who missed valuable family time and might welcome a family mini break at our little house in Pambula Beach Tracy x

07.01.2022 It's a lazy Pambula Beach kinda afternoon ...

06.01.2022 This classic image of Pambula Rivermouth is a reminder that whilst we’re enduring rather a lot right now, there is so much beauty to be found on our Sapphire Co...ast, not least the amazing spirit of our people. Much of what we love is unchanged and as a community we’ve never been stronger. #sapphirecoast Visit NSW David Rogers See more

03.01.2022 Pambula charms are many. It's historical shopfronts for local produce, wine and art thrive, while nearby beaches and idyllic river mouth offer much for nature l...overs. Browsing the hertiage buildings of the main street you'll discover a pleasing amount of specialty shops, such as an artisan bakery and coffee roasters, winery, whole foods, wood sculpture gallery, local art and picture framing, vintage collectables, boutiques and eco-focussed retail with a flair for the local. You will also find the usual necessary shops such as supermarket, post office, newsagent, bank and real estate. At the southern end of the main street, Panboola Wetlands offers a tranquil nature experience ideal for picnics and birdwatching. One of Pambula's charms is it's close proximity to beaches, particularly Pambula Beach. It is patrolled and has an active and inclusive surf life saving club just behind the dunes. There is assisted access to the high tide line in the form of a permanent ramp across the soft sand. Pambula is also close to lakes, wetlands and country-side. It's ideal for family holidays and there are families who have been coming here for four generations. For more information visit the Sapphire Coast website - http://bit.ly/pambulatown
