12.01.2022 To all our wonderful clients ... To say the government is making life complicated for hairstylists is an understatement.. We have been complying with all the confronting issues to the best standards possible .. We collectively made a decision to take some holiday leave due to the changing laws around our work place and clients having a 30 minute rule ..... Now those rules have been dismissed and they tell us business as normal ? Problem is normal isnt normal at the moment ... My staff are torn between loving their job , clients and of course their pay ... They also feel that the government is not protecting their health to the levels required .. Being an essential service there is only holiday pay available to them at this stage if not working .. This causes decisions to be made based on wealth and not health ! We have temporarily closed for 3 days .. In this time we will make some important decisions on how we move forward with what we are facing and will our have a new plan for week that follows .. We are also strictly following all safety precautions with single use items and extreme hygiene in place for everyones safety . Both salon and staff have all the strict hygiene requirements in place .. Including single use capes,cups,spoons etc. With minimal staff we ask you to leave a message on phone service and we will get back to you ASAP if we are unable to answer the phone. 01.01.2022 Thank you for supporting us during this difficult time.Be assured we are doing everything we can to keep the salon a safe environment. We have cleaned the salon from top to bottom,we have removed magazines so please bring your own reading material or ask for our wifi password. We will also be using disposable cups for all beverages. Stations will be thoroughly cleaned before and after each use and we will have hand sanitiser on the front desk which we encourage you to use on ...entering the salon. We cant work from home and we want to be able to continue looking after you all so we stress that if you are unwell or have been in contact with anyone who has recently been overseas or if you have recently returned from overseas please reschedule your appointment.
