23.01.2022 So proud of what the #RoseBayBeachWorkingParty has achieved since I set it up with local residents and Government stakeholders to improve the water qualityat o...ur amazing #RoseBayBeach . As part of that work, I secured a 150,000 #NSWGovt grant for Beachwatch NSW and UTS: University of Technology Sydney to undertake a investigation into the pollution sources at the Beach. The report released today by NSW DPIE reveals that the main source of pollution at the beach is human faecal matter coming from the local stormwater drain network. These findings present a big step forward in our work to improve the Beach’s water quality.
