Due to the COVID-19 crisis, electronic prescriptions have now been rolled out throughout the greater Melbourne area. * Electronic prescriptions are an alternative to paper prescriptions. ... *After a GP consult, a patient may choose to receive an e-script. *The e-script will be sent as a Q-R token via SMS or email. You will receive a token for each medicine prescribed. *The Q-R token gets scanned at the pharmacy. The pharmacist will unlock the prescription details. *If you have been prescribed repeats, you will receive a new Q-R token after each dispensing. *This new token will be required when you need the repeat filled.
