17.01.2022 NetSetGo Tip Of The Week. Do make sure that teams change ends at the end of each quarter and rotate centre passes after a goal is scored. #mwna2020 #netsetgo

17.01.2022 Always supporting his community!

17.01.2022 Make sure all jewellery is removed before coming to the game on Saturday. This includes all ear rings (including cartilage) watches (including smart watches) an...d bracelets. There is to be no taping of any pieces. They must be removed. The umpires will be checking before the game and you cannot take the court until everything is removed. (medical alert bracelets excepted)

16.01.2022 Guidance for participants who have attended Crossroads Hotel or Planet Fitness in Casula or Picton Hotel, or other COVID-19 Locations.

16.01.2022 Umpires Tip of the Week. Neat presentation creates a good impression and players react favourably to that appearance. Players will assess your level of confiden...ce by your whistle which should be short and sharp and your voice. Both should be heard by ALL players on the court and the other umpire. Just as an Umpire checks players to make sure that they have the correct uniform it is important for umpires to do the same! #mwna2020 #umpires

16.01.2022 Sport is back at fields, courts and venues across the Northern Beaches. Please remember, Covid-19 is also back in large parts of Sydney. Social distancing and o...ther pandemic precautions are as important as ever. For those running sporting organisations or events, if there are more than 20 people at your fixture make sure you’ve developed, implemented and have on hand your COVID-19 safety plan so it can be shown to an authorised officer on request. All the information you need for your plan is at the following link: https://www.nsw.gov.au//industr/sports-recreation-and-gyms For those supporting children, family or friends be sure to follow the Covid-safe rules: - keep your distance from fellow spectators on the sidelines, at venues or even queuing for coffee - adhere to the organisers’ Covid-safe arrangements. The last thing we want is for the virus to take hold here on the Beaches or to be handing out fines to those not playing by the rules.

16.01.2022 Good news.......Netball NSW has received the public order exemption from the health minister, Brad Hazzard. The public health order confirms/approves our MWNA ...covid 19 plan and it requires no changes. We are good to go. The exec have met this evening as promised and have chosen to delay one week to the 25th July as our start date. Further return to play information to come from tomorrow so keep an eye on your inbox. #mwna2020 #letsplay #netballfamily

15.01.2022 MWNA hopes to make a return to pre-COVID playing time slots in 2021. These time slots are however subject to COVID-19 Public Health Orders and restrictions that may be in place when the competition commences. In the event that we are placed under COVID-19 Public Health Orders and restrictions in 2021 the alternative (Option 2) time slots will be implemented.

10.01.2022 Wherever possible we will not allow players to substitute into another team and will not punish teams who are unable to play due to COVID-19 restrictions. We wi...ll ensure that players only participate in One (1) competition game per day ie 1. If a player has played in a game on a day, that player should not play in a second game on an ad hoc basis (ie as a 'borrowed' player) on the same day. 2. If a player has a bye in their normal team, on that day they could play as a 'borrowed' player given they will still only be playing in one game on the day. See more

01.01.2022 Coaching Tip Follow on....When coaching on game day, use CUE WORDS to remind your players of what they need to do on court. If you use too many words, your players will tune out and not listen - remember they are concentrating and making decision constantly on court - there is a lot going on.
