According to new research published in the Journal of Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise, babies of mothers who participated in regular supervised exercise (e.g. with an appropriately qualified Physio) were ahead in areas such as motor skills, head control and reflexes...thats pretty incredible! 10.01.2022 Check out this super simple, but effective leg series from our girl Elka. Can be done anywhere with a ledge or stable surface (park, home, backyard, gym...), no equipment required just your legs! Make this an interval workout by doing 1 minute as fast as you can (with great technique) followed by 30 - 60 seconds recovery. Alternate with body weight squats for your effort window and repeat for 10 minutes total. Short, sharp, effective...winner! Watchpoints:... Make sure you are mainly loading through your heel on the front foot. You should always be able to see the tips of your toes on front foot, dont let your knee come too far forward. You may need to have a greater distance between front and back foot to achieve this. Any pain, especially in the front of the knee joint, this series isnt for you (and maybe time to see a Physio if you havent already!). See more
