24.01.2022 Very excited to announce Beadles as an exclusive distributor for Patricia Urquiola designed wallpapers. Don't know of Patricia Urquiola - think Alessi, B&B Italia, Cassina, Georg Jensen, Agape, Kettle, Kvadrat... the list goes on and on and on. Extremely impressive and sought after designs in many mediums. These papers are contemporary in design with a few that are over sized scale, that would be an amazing feature either commercially or in a residential setting (see examples in attached). The other designs in the collection could lend themselves to either an art deco or mid century inspired interior. Call into our showroom today to have a look at this amazing collection. The students at St Rita's College will be in for a surprise when they go the "The Pantry" for lunch next week.

The amazing geometric embroidery on the outback, the beautiful woven texture inside and a complimentary velvet has been used for the contrast piping. Such a happy and harmonious combination.

As in our case, an early 19th Century Georgian (English) sideboard, but equally at home with modern as well.

10.01.2022 While my phone photography skills are limited, these new fabrics are still beautiful. In the closeup photo of the embroidered fabric, you can see the multiple layers of the embroidery. I love the details of fabric design and find it absolutely fascinating. It''s the small details like this that really make a fabric stand out for me. 09.01.2022 We often find the backs of fabrics just as interesting as the front. Last week we saw this amazing Casamance fabric from Zepel Fabrics and as you can see from the photos, it's actually strips of alternating fabrics joined together to create a stripe. One is embroidered and the other is plain. This creates a different background for the embroidery. This subtle change in fabric adds to the overall interest of the design. As they say "It's all in the detail".
