22.01.2022 UPDATE 11/01: Apollo's owner has been overwhelmed with interest in offering him a new home. Apollo will be going on a trial with his potential new family soon. Should that not work out, his owner will get in touch with other applicants. Best wishes to all, and thanks to everyone who expressed an interest in being Apollo's new family. ---------- PRIVATE REHOMING - APOLLO 7YR, TRI MALE... Apollo is on the lookout for a new home. He is currently allowed indoors, including to sleep, he is housetrained and has previously lived with cats. Apollo is good with other dogs and is used to children. He has also completed training for basic manners and, like many Beagles, is treat oriented in training. Apollo prefers not to be alone, and may bark and howl if left for long periods. He has lived as an only dog, but may benefit from having a canine companion. If you'd like to know more about him, or to offer him a new home please contact [details removed]. Please be patient in making contact, remember that owners have jobs, families and pets to look after. They may need some time to get back to you. They may also receive a lot of enquiries. As a private rehoming, we know only what Apollo's owner has told us. He is not in care with us and we have not assessed him. Usual rules apply, keep it positive or keep it to yourself. No exceptions. Negative comments will be removed and the commenter may be banned from the page without further discussion.

21.01.2022 30/10: applications closed. Thank you to all those who have enquired and/or submitted an application for Milo. We have some great apps to choose from. - APPLICATIONS INVITED - DOG IN FOSTER CARE... MILO, 3Y 8MO, TRI MALE Adoption fee: $300 'Mo' has been in foster care with us since early September, coming to us as a transfer from the RSPCA. He's a good boi, but he's going to need a particular kind of people to make sure we get his perfect match. You can read a bit about Mo in his profile attached here, but to get the real skinny you'll need to chat to his foster carer, [details removed]. Please be patient when contacting Michelle, all our carers are volunteers. They have jobs, families and pets of their own to care for and may need some time to call you back. After speaking to Michelle, if you'd like to submit an application to adopt Mo, please complete the application form and email it back to us (all details are on the form). Please make sure you download, complete and save the form, then email it to us (don't use the 'submit form' button). If you don't follow those steps, it may come throuhg blank and then you'll have to do it again. http://www.beaglerescuensw.org.au//Application%20to%20Adop Please note our dogs are not adopted on a first come, first served basis. We try to individually match each dog to their new people. Our foster dogs go to their new homes on a 30-day trial basis, so you get some time to get to know each other to be sure it's going to work out. If at any time during the trial period it becomes apparent it's not going to last, please contact us to arrange returning the dog to us.

19.01.2022 UPDATE 21/11: Daisy has found her new home today. Thank you to all who enquired, he owner was overwhelmed with the response. Best of luck to all PRIVATE REHOMING; DAISY, 6MO, TRI COLOUR, FEMALE (DESEXED)... * Rehoming Fee: $400 * Daisy is a young pup sadly in need of a new home. As you can see in her write-up, Daisy suffers from anxiety. Her current owners have been treating this and working with her on it, and while she has been making progress, she is sadly very afraid of one member of the household. As a result, her owners feel it's unfair on her and that she may be able to make better progress in managing her fears in a different environment. Please read Daisy's bio carefully. Her owners have been very clear on her issues and they are looking for a family willing to put in the time and effort to help Daisy grow into a more confident pup. Daisy's owners are seeking a rehoming fee for her of $400. As we have noted many times in the past, we believe rehoming fees are appropriate. Every dog's life has value. Daisy is described as a loving and friendly pup, she is good with kids, housetrained and currently allowed indoors. Daisy is good with other dogs, but can be a little wary at first and (like many dogs) is not comfortable being surprised by off-lead dogs. If you'd like to know more about Daisy please contact her owner [details removed] Note that due to the expected level of interest in Daisy, we have included an email address as first point of contact so you can introduce yourself first. Daisy's owner will go from there in terms of arranging to speak to people on the phone about her. Please be patient. We expect interest in Daisy to be very strong. Remember that her family has other commitments - work, pets, family. They may need some time to get back to you, and may be inundated with enquiries. As a private rehoming, we know only what Daisy's owner has told us. She is not in care with us and we have not assessed her. All enquiries must be sent to Daisy's owner directly - there is no point in direct messaging the rescue to indicate your interest. Usual rules apply - we absolutely will not tolerate any negative or judgemental commentary. If your comments are not positive and focused on a successful rehoming for Daisy and her family, keep it to yourself. Comments may be deleted and the commenter banned from the page without further discussion.
