25.01.2022 A important massage from Beanfeet Dog Grooming Dear all valued clients, Please note that due to rising concerns regarding COVID-19, Beanfeet has decided to put a few procedures in place for the health and safety of everyone. These procedures are as follows:... 1. We will require all dogs to be brought to us on a secure lead when handed over to our groomers 2. We will not be taking cash payments until further notice 3. If you are sick, we do ask if you could please call and reschedule your appointment for the health and safety of our staff and clients. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone, Beanfeet will be doing the following: 1. Using F10 vet grade disinfectant between each dog and also using F10 disinfectant for our end of day clean 2. Using hand sanitizer before and after each dog is groomed 3. Eftpos machines will be wiped down after each use 4. Door handles and gates will be wiped and cleaned with disinfectant on a regular basis. Thank you for your cooperation, understanding and ongoing support. Beanfeet Dog Grooming.

25.01.2022 FYI PLEASE READ. In case you were concerned about bringing your dog in to Beanfeet this is from another groomer in Kew who has been in touch with her local MP... I have just received a phone call from Tim Smith MP, local member for Kew (Victoria), in response to an email I sent to him re whether or not groomers are permitted to operate, and if clients risk a fine by attending. He advised under the Health Dept guidelines there is nothing that stipulates dog groomers are not permitted to remain open. There are specific guidelines in place in relation to petting zoos etc, but nothing in relation to pet care/grooming. He also said owners would not be fined for bringing a dog to a salon, as its not a social gathering. He said as long as social distancing protocols and hygiene are in place, we can remain open. He is going to send me a copy of the Departmental guidelines.

Tips from my Covid 19 course * Avoid touching your face as much as possible Covid 19 droplets can be transferred through eyes nose & mouth * Wash your hands before using sanitizer make sure youre washing your hands properly in between fingers etc. * Avoid metal surfaces. * No group gatherings. * Covid 19 is spread by droplet form please practise good hygiene. LAST BUT NOT LEAST COVID 19 is not spread nor carried by dogs!! This is a myth. Please remain calm. This virus is out of our control and stressing about it is not going to do you any good. Just follow the precautions health ministers are announcing. Avoid over the top media usage in this time its easy to get depressed especially after the fires so be sure to keep updated but remain sane and turn your phone & tv of for a while I have faith in us all if we can get through fire we can get through this just have to work together Beanfeet Team
