19.01.2022 LIFE MEMBER || An absolute Bearcat legend was surprised with life membership tonight. There is nothing more adequate to describe everything that John Pearce means to our club and our Bearcat family than these special moments. Congratulations John, no one deserves this more.

11.01.2022 PREMIER LEAGUE || Blake Truslove, a true West Adelaide champion, will retire at the conclusion of the 2019 Premier League season. Blake has played 476 games acr...oss numerous professional leagues including state leagues, NZNBL and NBL. He currently stands at 346 games for West Adelaide with his 350th game to be played against Centrals in the next few weeks. Blake is a five time Premier League All Star, a National All Star, a three time Bearcat Medalist and a three time club MVP. Blake led the Premier League in rebounds across four separate seasons and led the league in blocks and field goal percentage over three seperate seasons. This champ has played in five Premier League grand finals including co-captaining our 2017 Premiership and has won a championship in every league he has played in. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Blake for everything he has given to our club, including numerous hours with our junior program. Bearcats breed champions and Blake is nothing but. Proudly supported by The Office for Recreation, Sport... and Racing, we have teamed up with Basketball SA, GIRL POWER and Pushing Performance to deliver a girls only clinic with a difference! These clinics are open to all girls across South Australia from U10-U16 (with special discount for Bearcat Members) and we welcome all abilities. 03.01.2022 PLAY LIKE A GIRL || We are so excited to announce that we will be hosting a series of girls only workshops for our female athletes this year! The 'I Know I Play... Like a Girl' program will see West Adelaide join forces with Girl Power Workshops to facilitate a series of workshops targeting strengths and identity, healthy friendships, resilience, body image and anxiety and stress for female athletes aged 9-21. We will also partner with Headspace to provide workshops on mental health and Pushing Performance to deliver further workshops touching on healthy eating, nutrition and dealing with sports injuries. The best part? The program will be completely free for all Bearcat athletes participating! Don't miss the program launch in conjunction with our Women's Premier League singlet presentation prior to the first Premier League home game on March 8th.
