23.01.2022 Like many in our community, we are struggling with the significant impact of the Coronavirus and face an uncertain future. The delayed start to the season means that the LCGFC and all clubs through the country can only receive revenue which comes from our loyal, committed and dedicated supporters through the purchase of merchandise and those who choose to donate, to whom we are extremely grateful. Whether you are a long-time member, a new supporter, a parent who has children... that have taken to Gridiron or dream of playing our great game. We need your support now, more than ever. We are calling on our passionate community, businesses, supporters and all members of the LCGFC football family to make a tax-deductible donation to ensure we can look well into the future and build on the momentum of our 2019 season. We are aware that many of you are hurting as well, and that a donation may not be possible at this time. We understand this, so we are appealing to those who can donate to the club in whatever capacity you are able. 16.01.2022 Raising Awareness (and Funds) for Autism - Canteen will be running all day. - Raffles on sale and gold coin donations welcomed... Logan City Bears have decided that we would like to make our last home games of the season as a Charity game day. This year we have selected to raise funds for AIEOU Foundation and Autism Awareness Australia. We have chosen these organisations as we have players and parents within our club that deal with Autism every day. We thrive to support our players and parents as much as we can so we have decided this will be a great way to do our part. Autism is a developmental disorder that impairs the ability to communicate and interact. Autism also impacts the nervous system. This can cause difficulty with communication, social interactions, obsessive interests and repetitive behaviours. We are running this as a fundraiser for the games on the 28th November 2020, We would appreciate gold coin donations on arrival or any amount you are wanting to donate. You can donate at the canteen whilst purchasing items as well. We will be running raffles throughout the day, all the money raised will go towards those foundations in choice. As apart of the light it up blue for Autism our Bear’s Men and Juniors team will always be wearing blue socks to show their support. We also would love for the other teams that will be playing at our field to get involved as well. If spectators or visitors would like to take part of this day, we encourage to wear or display blue in any kind.
