20.01.2022 I can tell you - the Hug-a-Bub really is that good! My daughter and I both love it. She falls asleep the moment she is wrapped, and I get to have my hands free to continue with my day. Another bonus is that it's helped increase my milk supply by having more squishy cuddles with my girl. Win Win Win! <3 Alison

19.01.2022 As a doula, I'm often reminding clients about how to tell if baby is getting enough milk. As a mum however, it's easy to get second guess everything and question what you, your baby and your body are doing! I've found videos such as these from the Raising Children Network are an easy watch for reassurance <3 Alison

16.01.2022 OK, so I haven't posted in 2 months - but I have a good reason! I'm pleased to introduce Charlotte Grace <3 Charlotte was born on the 7th January - 6 weeks early. Despite her early arrival, she is doing really well and as you can see in this photo of us, she may still be little, but she is healthy and happy 8 weeks after her birth. I look forward to writing our unique journey through pregnancy and birth and sharing it with you all.....I just have to find the time to write it! <3 Alison

09.01.2022 There are some stunning photos here! One of my favourite parts of being a doula is being witness to the love and support a partner shows his labouring wife. All too often, we hear the saying "When a child is born, a Mother is born" - but what about the dads? Labour and birth are a phenomenal experience for them too - their lives are just as changed. <3 Alison
