24.01.2022 Another victim from New Zealand, such a shame. Sorry to hear mate Hi, I have been keeping up with your fb page since Feb. I have a grassroots basketball club in NZ just north of Auckland. We made in order through Beastwear in December 2019. The process to get our order done was a little frustrating but by the end of Jan we had 12 sets of uniforms ready to go. As a very small club the expense of those uniforms was not viable and so I approached sponsors, all who were parents o...f our club. After completing the order and paying the amount of $6k upfront they then proceeded to tell me that it would coast another $10 per garment to sublimate the sponsors logos onto the shirts after agreeing in December that they could add these at a later date after I had acquired the sponsors. Finally after paying an extra $1k from our club we were underway. Then COVID hit. I understood that there would be delays and since there was no sport being played that was ok. I reached out again in June and received a reply that things were back underway. It’s now been 4 months since then and 7 in total and still they have not given us a straight answer to where our uniforms are. We are looking to take further action but unsure what to do from NZ. Is there some way you can help us or at least put us in contact with the right people to make a claim. These people should not be allowed to run a business and are criminals who take peoples money knowing full well they will not deliver on there promises. See more
21.01.2022 Has anyone successfully had a case against them? Trying at the moment but mail was returned from the listed address with ASIC and can’t go forward until they are served the paperwork, which can’t happen without a valid address :(
04.01.2022 I'm the president of a grass roots basketball club. An order was placed with Beastwear in August 2019 for club uniforms. The order was paid for in full - $3630.... The turn around time was supposed to be 4 weeks. October came and still no uniforms. We enquired as to the whereabouts of the Uniforms and were told they were in production. Weeks went bye and still no uniforms! In December after a few emails to and fro, Aden finally responded that there was a delay. I requested a refund, then he turned nasty! Threatening our club with legal action etc. I asked the question "is beastwear trading insolvent?" Well that really set him off! Swearing in his responses and continually saying that we would be hearing from his lawyers. We have an NCAT hearing in July 2nd. I dont believe they will attend. Please lodge your complaints with NSW Fair trading .
