25.01.2022 It is with the deepest of regrets that our event is another casualty of Corona virus After deep thought, reading the advice from government and health officials and consulting with our sponsors and partners we have decided to postpone our amazing event until later in the year. This decision has been paid to protect the integrity and reputation of both our event and our sponsors. ... Our goal remains to raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease Association NSW, and we will continue to work towards our goal by rescheduling to later in the year. Thank you for your understanding.

21.01.2022 We have been a bit quiet on the page the last couple of weeks as we navigate the covid situation and also our association affiliation. ANNOUNCEMENT 1 Firstly we want to thank everyone for their support from sponsors, competitors, contractors, friends and family. Your support inspires us and provides the encouragement required to keep us going with our plans for a great event that is dedicated to raising money for Motor Neurone Disease NSW and their patients.... With the borders closed, new zones being implemented and based on the advice from the government and health departments we have decided to again postpone the BIG Beat the Beast Team Roping Spectacular until May 2021! We really want this to be a great event, and of course to see our Mexican (Victorian) friends who have supported our event since the very start as well as ensure we have all the best competitors in the country all vie for the Beat The Beast title, we can’t do this with borders closed. But don’t despair!! We have decided that with stock and a venue booked already we will instead run a jackpot on the 5th and 6th December, still at the Tamworth Paceway (old indoor arena). Based on the current restrictions it is possible for us to deliver a jackpot and follow all public health guidelines. We truely hope our Team Ropers from Tamworth and within our Bubble will support this event.

13.01.2022 NEW VENUE ANNOUNCEMENT Fuel up the truck, and get your ropes ready we are going ahead in 2020! The new date is close to being confirmed but we can announce that we are changing venues to the old Don Willis Indoor Arena which is now owned by Tamworth Paceway.... This venue will bring back a lot of memories for the good ol boys! This was the home of many of Tamworths great rodeos over the years including the ABCRA national finals for many a year. An awesome undercover arena with affordable camping and stabling we look forward to moving forward with our event and catching up with everyone on the flip side!
