23.01.2022 Our members and friends will be saddened by the recent passing of Josie Arthy. This remarkable lady,at age 103 years 8 months succumbed to a series of strokes and faded away quietly last week. Josie never owned a vehicle nor even held a licence. She did however share the pasion of her late husband and many family members involved in our Club. Always willing to help out, especially in the canteen at all of our Swap Meets. A proud moment for her to be presented with the Club's ...Annual Trophy in 2005. Suitably engraved GRANDMA. Many happy memories will live on in her absence. We take this opportunity to forward our Condolences to Josie's family members. Given the restrictions of COVID and Josie's large family, the family ask for anyone wishing to attend her funeral to please register with Brown Family Funerals. The service will also be live streamed. Rest in Peace Josie. See more

23.01.2022 First Rally/Tour for 2021 A Scenic Border Crossing Success! Our first outing for 2021 was well attended with 6 older and3 modern vehicles. A few members joined the group "Country,Cars and Coffee" for breakfast at the Rathdowney Hotel. Others enjoyed their smoko at Tilly Park where we all joind up for today's tour. Leaving around 10.00a.m, we motored over Mt Lindesay into N.S.W. No Co-vid resrtictions at present! The normal towering view of Mt. Lindesay was not available due ...to a blanket of low cloud. Light rain persisted until we saw sunshine on our return to Queensland later in the day. With the hanging of a tarpaulin in the shelter shed,we stayed dry whilst having lunch at Wiangaree. We abandoned some original plans and returned via the Lions Tourist road. Always a pleasant drive through the ranges. On our return to Rathdowney, some stayed for afternoon smoko and others left for home. A scenic drive enjoyed by all who attended. Rob. and Michelle. See more

17.01.2022 Our September Club Tour on Sunday 20th opened with a warm and clear Spring day as our group of around ten classics travelled to Rathdowney to take in the local markets and car display, morning tea and lunch before driving on the loop of some of the best mountain views in the Second Rim via the Mt Barney loop back to Rathdowney for the completion of a good test for all our classic cars. Don's Prefect suffered an engine oil leak on arrival at the markets and had to retire for the day but not a difficult fix before the next outing we hope Don. Many thanks to Craig for organizing the day.

17.01.2022 The Club is posting this so that those Members whose wish to attend, can do so on an impromptu basis, using their Club Registered, Special Interest Vehicles.

12.01.2022 I was speaking with Alan Huggins recently who advised me that Narelle has been seriously ill in hospital for over six weeks after complications following surgery. She is currently in Lismore Hospital. Alan tells me that hopefully she is on the mend but obviously this has been a bad time for them both physically and mentally. Alan appreciated our chat as it took his mind off things for a while and I am sure he would appreciate the fellowship of other club members that may wish to catch up with him for a chat. Should you not have Alan's contact details please send me a message and I will forward it on. I have asked Alan to pass on the Clubs best wishes to Narelle for a speedy recovery, Kind Regards, Rod Roberts
