25.01.2022 Purple metallic 2008 Honda jazz, reluctant sale $4500. Manual.

25.01.2022 So, I was at this ovalabout, can hardly call it round lol. Does everybody know which indicators to use if your following the blue route? My student and I had quite a conversation about it at the time.

25.01.2022 Remember 40 at school times.

22.01.2022 We all pop in our own time.

22.01.2022 CHANGES TO LICENCING QUEENSLAND TRANSPORT AND MAIN ROADS QLD 25/04/2020 Good morning... The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is currently implementing a number of changes to products, services and requirements that have been impacted by COVID-19. An announcement was made this morning about two of these and so I wanted to provide some information. Learner licence renewal fees As you are aware, on 28 March 2020, all Practical Driver Licence Tests (PDTs) were suspended for three months (subject to review) in the interest of community health and safety and in line with Queensland health advice and guidelines. The suspension of PDTs will mean that some learners will have to renew their licence who otherwise would not have had to. The Queensland learner licence term is a fixed three-year period and currently has an associated fee of $175.80. This fee will be waived during the COVID-19 period to recognise that these costs would not have been incurred if learners were able to undertake and pass their practical driving test. TMR is providing public communication to advise of the waiver. These amendments will be in effect from today 25 April 2020 and in place until three months after the suspension of PDTs is lifted. Extension to obtain Queensland driver licence for new residents There is currently a requirement for those who are driving on an international or interstate licence to obtain a Queensland driver licence within three months of becoming a Queensland resident. In some instances, this will require a practical driving test (PDT) to be completed. In recognition that some non-Queensland licence holders will find it difficult to obtain a Queensland licence, particularly if a practical driving test is required, the three-month period within which international or interstate licence holders must obtain a Queensland driver licence has been extended. Their authority to drive under section 128(6) of the Transport Operations (Road Use Management- Driver Licensing) Regulation 2010 will not be revoked. TMR is providing public communication to advise of the change. These amendments will be in effect from today 25 April 2020 and in place for three months after the COVID-19 period ends. It would be appreciated if you could please distribute to your networks. Kind regards Executive Director |Policy, Safety and Regulation Land Transport Safety and Regulation Branch | Customer Services, Safety & Regulation Department of Transport and Main Roads

22.01.2022 Anyone looking to buy a manual Honda jazz let me know.

20.01.2022 Who's enjoying the heat from the winter sun.

19.01.2022 New announcement from TMR, is getting closer guys. Hopefully the car tests will be back sooner than the end of June. Keep your fingers crossed

19.01.2022 When you're out driving, before you open your door or pull away from the curb always check your blind spots. https://bit.ly/35auS8D

18.01.2022 I think '2' has to be someones lucky number. Is it yours?

18.01.2022 There seems to be so much confusion surrounding these rules. These are the official rules from the dept website. Please pass it around.

17.01.2022 Well, what a very exciting week we had in the auto car. Unfortunately if you spend enough time on the road your bound to come across something horrible. Hitting a dog was certainly not on our list of favourite things to happen but sometimes you try as hard as you can and still it happens. The main thing is to make sure everyone is safe and the dog is looked after too. Take care on the roads, cause things can change in an instant.

17.01.2022 Big no no guys. Make sure you can see clearly.

13.01.2022 There has been a lot of confusion over whether Learners can get behind the wheel during the current health crisis. We spoke with DTMR overnight to clear this up and were happy to confirm we have clarification and Learners can drive in their local area.

12.01.2022 This works for me

12.01.2022 Update **** please feel free to share this with anyone not on this page. Jeff and I would first of all like to wish everyone well during this time of concern. I'm doing all I can to keep the cars clean and germ free, using the anti bac wipes and spray that, luckily for me, I had before this madness started. I've always tried this anyway, especially around cold & flu times, but now more so. I would urge you all to please contact me if you have any concerns about your health... or mine, be it for lessons or tests. I know it's important to have these but not worth our lives/health. And we all need to be flexible. It's unclear what will happen in the future but we will deal with that as is happens. Good luck to all. Jill. See more

12.01.2022 Would this have been easier to negotiate than today?

10.01.2022 Maybe this is why your not supposed to hang things on the rearview mirror. Just saying.

10.01.2022 The struggle IS real.

10.01.2022 If you need to turn your wipers on, turn on your headlights please

08.01.2022 Ok , here we go. so exciting news , drum roll please. As from tomorrow at 10 a.m. we're allowed to book all general driving tests again. so I have contacted a lot of my students about bookings, but my humble apologies if I haven't contacted you, please give me a call if you have any questions about your test or about booking a test and I will do my best to get you sorted. Jill

08.01.2022 Be very safe people.

07.01.2022 Learners you can continue getting your 100 supervised driving hours up. Just do it locally and follow health advice, social distancing and hygiene, in the car and at the petrol station. https://bit.ly/3cl7g3a

05.01.2022 OK so you may have heard this morning that the driving tests are reopening on the 15th of June. they have said that everybody who has a test booked is going to be contacted, I don't know if they're going to contact you the student or me the driving school but we need to keep in touch with each other as soon as we hear anything please. I have rang the department of transport and they said that I can't do anything at the moment I have to wait until the first round of driving test have been rescheduled. we can make an application however if you didn't have a test booked but want to be in the priority list, there is a form we need to fill out and email for approval. if you want to contact me about that we can definitely get on to it. stay calm people but get excited and ready because its coming. Jill

05.01.2022 Wishing you all a very Merry and safe Christmas. Love Jill and Jeff

04.01.2022 Its official and unfortunately I dont have many answers but will let you asap

04.01.2022 You know your road rules, and nows your chance to prove it. Is the orange car allowed to make a U-turn at these traffic lights? Need a hint? -> http://bit.ly/32l8x6A

04.01.2022 As a driving instructor, I'm questioning everyday if I'm doing the right thing by still working. I know it's an inconvenience not having a licence and i worry about my financial situation if i stop work. But are we all just waiting for someone else to make the decision for us to stop being in close contact and spreading this virus???

03.01.2022 This is right, it's all about the student. And I hope this comes across in my car. I love what I do x

03.01.2022 And then keep focusing on each step at a time.

03.01.2022 Well I call that a successful first day back to doing "P" tests. 4 tests and 4 passes. Congratulations new drivers.

02.01.2022 As you can see in the top picture, there is plenty of room for the cars to bypass each other and turn the corner safely but in the bottom picture the intersection isn't as wide therefore the cars need to go behind each other to turn safely and no one has to cut a corner or fail to give way. There are several intersections like these examples in beaudesert that people need to be aware of.

01.01.2022 Here's another great buy
