20.01.2022 Please watch this short video about working safely from home
20.01.2022 I is so important to have both a Plan A and Plan B when leaving home if a fire occurs. Your Plan should be to leave early before a fire starts on bad days, but if that is not possible you need multiple plans to ensure you can leave home and go to a safe place.
20.01.2022 Hoax calls to 000 are an offence and waste the time of our Volunteers who are called out unnecessarily. They can also result in death or injury if we are chasing a hoax call when a true emergency is reported and precious minutes are taken for our crews to get to an actual incident. Ararat Brigade have been out to too many of these calls lately and been frustrated and wasted their valuable time.
19.01.2022 Check out the link below for the full list of suppliers. You need your CFA ID card to participate.
18.01.2022 The young can lead the way to make sure their family has a Home Fire Safety Escape Plan.
18.01.2022 The Fire Action Week QR Code Quiz was set to close in a few minutes, but with last weekend's weather being so miserable and this weekend's weather forecast to be nice, we are extending it to finish at 6pm on Sunday. Get out and explore our local shops, 5 of which have the QR codes in their windows. Pop down to the fire station to find a unique code with a message just for the kids.

15.01.2022 Please prepare and plan for this fire season. The outlook may look favorable in our District but with rain comes growth and when dry we may be faced with fast moving grass fires.

12.01.2022 Silence is the last thing you want to hear in the event of a fire. Install smoke alarms in all bedrooms, living area and hallways and ensure they are interconnected so all alarms will sound regardless of where a fire starts.
11.01.2022 Saw this on another post.
10.01.2022 One day that we will never forget. We also remember all the firefighters, first responders and all the innocent people who did not get to go home on this fateful day.

09.01.2022 The most common cause of harvester fires is material collecting on hot engine components There are several ways you can prevent harvester fires on your pro...perty. Some of our top tips include: Postponing paddock work during the highest fire-risk periods Run regular maintenance checks on farm machinery Monitor weather conditions throughout the day and stop operations if it changes. Remember to always ensure you have appropriate firefighting equipment in place. You are required by law to have a nine-litre water-pressured extinguisher on hand If you’ve got any questions on preventing harvester fires, let us know in the comments below!
08.01.2022 So glad Shennel came through this horrible ordeal but this is why we teach Cover your Face, Stop, Drop and Roll to young children and then reinforce the message throughout their school years in the hope that no child will have to suffer as she did.

07.01.2022 It is never to early to start to prepare for the summer. We could see more grassfires and grassy plains fires this season due to a predicted wetter than average spring.

02.01.2022 This year the Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb has gone virtual. Between September 10th and October 10th participants are encouraged to climb 3,046 steps (one for each person lost to suicide each year). For the first time ever, it is open to the whole community. Beaufort Fire Brigade has one member participating this year, and with 2 weeks left to register and complete your steps, we are encouraging you to join us. *Please note there is a registration fee. Can you think of any stairs around Beaufort that could be used to smash out some steps (while remaining Covid safe of course)? For more information, visit https://www.firefighterclimb.org.au/
