AS A RESULT MY MEDALS HAVE BEEN RETURNED TO ME! Police investigations into the theft of a large number of personal possessions during our move from Toowoomba to Sydney by a removalist are still ongoing. At this time no other items have been returned, however, I am still hopeful that will change. I have added a photo of my Great Grandmothers engagement ring as this item has tremendous sentimental value to my family. THE POWER OF SOCIAL MEDIA FOUND MY MEDALS AND I WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL TO EVERY PERSON WHO REACHED OUT IN SOME WAY! ** STOLEN MEDALS ** I never thought Id be making a public plea for the return of my military service medals, but here I am doing exactly that! A safe containing my medals was stolen by a removalist on my posting from Toowoomba to Sydney. The police have been notified. Other items including my great grandmothers engagement ring were also stolen. Heartbroken doesnt even describe how gutting this is. The medals were the originals in their individual cases.
