23.01.2022 HARMONY DAY 2021 We are celebrating Harmony Day on WEDNESDAY 17 MARCH. Students are encouraged to wear traditional clothes from other countries or mufti with an orange colour theme. Throughout the day students will participate in some fun activities that promote unity, acceptance and inclusion.

22.01.2022 Earlier this term KW have enjoyed coding with Bluebots. Last week they used their coding skills to give instructions to Dash robots.

21.01.2022 KG visited the Life Education van today and were so excited to meet Healthy Harold for the very first time! They loved learning about the body and how to stay healthy like Harold.

20.01.2022 Today we farewelled an ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS teacher, Miss Inzitari. Although we are sad to lose her we are super excited for her to be appointed to a permanent position albeit at another school. Miss Inzitari has made many contributions to our school over the years through her roles leading our SRC and dance groups in addition to being a highly skilled classroom practitioner. Our staff, students and parents wish Miss Inzitari all the very best for this next exciting chapter in her career.

18.01.2022 KINDNESS CHALLENGE This week our SRC challenged our students to a kindness challenge. This idea was completely initiated by our students with guidance and support from Miss Inzitari and Mr Ward. ... We are beyond proud of their ability to always think of others and take action to make the world a kinder place. K-2 students were given a challenge card whilst 3-6 students are asked to log their kindness in their google classroom. What acts of kindness did your child/family undertake this weekend? 16.01.2022 JUMP ROPE UPDATE What a day! I’m fairly certain everyone will sleep well tonight...especially our sports leaders, Mrs West, Miss Walker, Mrs Bester, Mrs Flanagan and Mrs Boumelhem who did an incredible five hours of skipping today! Our fabulous community have raised an ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE... **** $16 664 **** for Heart Foundation and our students have skipped an INCREDIBLE 209 hours (don’t forget to go in and log today’s skipping efforts too). Thank you to every single person who has been able to contribute to this initiative. A HUGE thank you to Mrs West for organising this fundraiser and the awesome jump off day. It has been such a wonderful activity to participate in for a wonderful cause.

16.01.2022 Kindergarten are learning the basics of coding using robots this term! KG were excited to take their BlueBots on a 'Bear Hunt' after listening to the story 'We're going on a Bear Hunt' on Friday. They worked together in pairs to problem solve how to get their BlueBot to the river, grass or forest.

16.01.2022 LEST WE FORGET Beautiful poppies popped up all around our school today as a sign of remembrance and respect for past and present members of the armed forces. Our school captains, Samuel and Tyra, did an exceptional job leading our ceremony.

15.01.2022 JUMP ROPE FOR HEART UPDATE In just under one week our school community have raised a phenomenal $5098.94 for the heart foundation AND logged 30 hours of skipping ... Mrs West knew this initiative would be popular with students but she had no idea just how popular it would become!!! With 21 days to go until our JUMP OFF EVENT just imagine what we can achieve together between now and then!

12.01.2022 JUMP ROPE FOR HEART UPDATE WOW! WOW! WOW! Already our school community have raised a gobsmacking $3192.53 for the heart foundation!!!!! AND on top of that our students have logged 16 HOURS of skipping!!!!! So many students were practising their skipping skills in the playground today which is testament to their enthusiasm for this initiative....
