24.01.2022 Ever been a pregnant model, I have and it was fun. I'm keen to paint some bellies, enter competitions and have fun with my artistic pursuits etc have missed a few opportunities with clients birthing early so if you are keen please contact me for details. I use vegan safe paints! I'm available for Mother Blessings and Baby Showers, Belly Casts, Children's Birthday Parties and Themed Events - Adelaide Fringe is almost upon us so I'll be busy volunteering Gluttony again and on call for births so flexibility is a requirement on both sides! Please share with your Adelaide Networks and friends. Love Light & Laughter, Helen xxx

The Women’s and Children’s Health is undertaking a quality review of its Women’s and Babies Division. As part of our Network’s continuous cycle of improvement, each division over the next few years will have the opportunity of an external peer review. The review will focus on the key aspects of a high-performing health organisation including leadership, governance and culture, models of care, workforce planning, management and engagement, research and education, and partnering with consumers and community. 14.01.2022 Posting this on my pages and groups for the lovely Heather - Please share with your networks: Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) relating to pregnancy, labou...r, birth and or postnatal experiences This is an invitation to anyone who has experienced directly or indirectly Post- Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) relating to pregnancy, labour, birth and or postnatal experiences (that is across the perinatal period). I am a perinatal Health Psychologist with a long standing interest in perinatal PTSD and its impact and consequences. There are currently no guidelines for perinatal PTSD, limited research base and indeed there are some who dispute that it exists. I have therefore started work on a book about perinatal PTSD as a way forward to highlighting the significance of this for women and their families babies, children, partners and relevant others. A critical element of the value of this book will come from the personal contributions of women (and others) who have experienced (or were with those who experienced) perinatal PTSD. The authentic words of those for whom perinatal PTSD has been a reality provide the most incisive way for others to learn about it and benefit from that understanding in their professional practice. You may wish to provide a recall of your personal experience and/or its consequences, you may wish to write some prose or poetry that explains your experience and/or its consequences, you may wish to share words and expressions that give meaning to/typify your experience and/or its consequences, or in each case that of someone else’s. This is not about literary perfection as your authentic expressions will provide the greatest impact. Any contribution may be personalised or anonymous as you prefer (after final editing is agreed upon). Depending on the amount of contributions received not necessarily all contributions may be included in the book. All writing will need to be edited to remove any other names, hospitals etc for protection and publications purposes. Unfortunately I am not able to provide any financial or other remuneration for your contribution but your involvement will be making an invaluable impact on the learning of others about perinatal PTSD. The intended audience for this book is midwifery students, midwives, medical students, medical practitioners, obstetric registrars, obstetricians, psychologists, perinatal mental health nurses, maternal-infant health nurses, and interested others. If you would like to send something or speak/communicate with me please find my details as follows ----- telephone 0414499544 [email protected] Dr Heather Mattner RM PhD Perinatal Health Psychologist
