25.01.2022 I'm feeling so grateful for this little Hypnobub. Prior to becoming pregnant with Lorelai I was looking for some sort of soul work that I could bring into my life, I had considered Reiki, Life Coaching and many other paths but hadn't settled on anything even though I knew something was tugging at my heart. Then this little ray of sunshine came into my life as a pure surprise and absolute blessing. I knew she had come into my life for a reason and I saw my pregnancy as one b...ig spiritual lesson. While I didn't find Hypnobirthing Australia until very late in my pregnancy, it was one of the biggest blessings to discover a course that transformed the trajectory of my life and gave me a new found passion for sharing the word of positive birthing! All because of Lorelai I found a positive way to birth and overcome a huge fear of mine but I also found something that inspired me so deeply I knew this was that tugging feeling. It brings me so much joy sharing Hypnobirthing Australia's Positive Birth Program and knowing that I am helping change birth one woman at a time See more
25.01.2022 One of my favourite things about Hypnobirthing Australia's Positive Birth Program was the amazing folio of resources that is part of the course tuition. I don't know about anyone else but I carried this folder with me EVERYWHERE from the moment I got it...including my husband's romantic (well not so romantic at 37 weeks pregnant) birthday weekend away
22.01.2022 How magical is this space? This is where our October/November group class will be held @bluewateryogastudio Can't wait to see everyone and talk all things Hypnobirthing Australia
20.01.2022 Did you know that even your heart moves to accommodate your baby? It is amazing how a woman's body accomodates to grow a baby and it can only really be understood by the woman growing her baby Photo credit @stellasimona
20.01.2022 Yes that's right...Beauitful Birthing's Positive Birth Program has moved online to make our amazing birth education available through zoom! We have interactive group and private classes available! Let's work together to create your positive birth story! @stockportbirth
18.01.2022 Things have definitely changed in regards to birth partner's involvement in the birthing process. I know for me, my husband (my primary birth partner as my mum was also there) was absolutely instrumental in creating our positive birth experience. With all the information and tools taught in The Positive Birth Program by Hypnobirthing Australia we were empowered to work together to create a positive environment for our daughter to enter into. My husband set up our birth suite..., used the calming techniques we were taught and showed my mum to do the same, ensures the hospital staff were on board with what we were planning to achieve and so felt he had an important role in our birth. It is a special moment bringing your baby into the world and having your birth partner right beside you as an instrumental part of your birth is a absolutely empowering for the both of you @v.moulene_photography

17.01.2022 I get asked this regularly so I thought I'd share with you... You can attend classes anytime as our aim is to give you the opportunity to learn this information and techniques in order to assist you in your birthing experience, no matter where you are in your pregnancy. This being said, it is recommended that you attend classes between 20 and 32 weeks so that the information is still at the forefront of your mind when you begin to birth. Also beginning earlier will give you ...time to practice the tools and techniques from the program allowing a potentially deeper hypnotic state. However, if you are closer to your due date it is absolutely okay as many women, including myself have learnt the Hypnobirthing Australia course with only a few weeks before the birth and experienced wonderful, calm births. @lovedbyemily
16.01.2022 The ‘hypno’ part of Hypnobirthing refers to self-hypnosis which is a deep form of relaxation. This is a powerful part of this program as it allows the birthing mother to relax into a meditative state all the while remaining conscious and fully aware of her surroundings. During the birthing process, women are more in tune with their body and by relaxing into a state of self-hypnosis women are able to calmly and confidently meet whatever turn their birthing takes often resulting in less interventions @atlantabirthcenter
14.01.2022 Own it all mumma! Your body is doing amazing things, more than we can ever really comprehend and it's all happening automatically! Your body changes on the inside more than the outside but every mark left on you is a tiny representation of the incredible ability of your body @laurenanddouglas.birth
13.01.2022 I loved this affirmation during my pregnancy because it made me feel so empowered that no matter what turn my birthing took, I was equipped to handle it. Birth doesn't go according to 'a' plan and that's okay, it doesn't mean that you still can't have a calm and positive birth experience. Mindset has a lot to play in birth as in life and affirmations like these foster a positive and empowering mindset that is prepared for anything
11.01.2022 Post partum Post partum really isn't something that is discussed enough and as women I think we don't give ourselves the time to adjust. We expect so much of ourselves and think we need to have it all figured out...when the reality is as parents you never have it firgued out. My post partum was rough with no sleep following my birth because my little babe just kept crying and feeding and this continued on until about the 4 week mark when my hubby took over and prepared a... bottle of formula so I could sleep. At that point I hadn't had more than 2 hours of sleep since she was born and I was WRECKED! It was hard and due to the severe lack of sleep we undoubtedly had some attachment issues...if you had of asked me then I would have said I am just doing what I know I need to do but I really wasn't sure if I even felt any affection towards my bub. I knew it was normal and that it wouldn't last forever BUT...I talked about it. And I really mean I talked about it, within an hour of her being born I said to my hubby and my mum that I didn't feel anything toward 'this baby'. I also told my maternal health nurse on 2 separate occasions how I felt and I was okay because I knew it wouldn't last forever. Then as the miracle of sleep would have it, I started to like my baby, then I loved her and now she is the most incredible thing I have ever experienced. It's okay to not be okay, motherhood is a roller coaster ride that really does change your world @katepavlovsky
11.01.2022 'We don't have control over how our birth unfolds - what we so have control over is the energy we bring to the experience. That is how you make birth beautiful' ~Lael Stone There is so much beauty that occurs during pregnancy and birth is too a very beautiful event that is so sacred. Women's bodies are truly magnificent ... **Unsure of the owner of this photo, if you know please pass on their details so I can tag them**
10.01.2022 Has anyone else read this incredible book? I wanted to read this book when I was pregnant but unfortunately found out about it a bit late and didn't get to. Luckily it was a required reading as part of my practitioner certification and I LOVED it! It really opened my eyes to how normal birth is, the changes that we could do with in Australia and the incredibly small percentage of intervention achieved at The Farm If you are pregnant and want a good book to empower you for your birth THIS is the book!
08.01.2022 Who has had a water birth? I'd love to hear about your experience Repost @mamas_soul_images
07.01.2022 I was never one to enjoy my pregnancy with morning sickness for most of my pregnancy but I do miss that special bond of growing a tiny human inside of me! Pregnancy really is such a magical experience @lbreggy
06.01.2022 During times like these it's even more important to connect with nature, along your energies and nurture yourself! Here's little Hypnobub Lorelai doing just that and living as presentally as she knows how by connecting with nature and the pure joy that it brings! Sending all our love to all those pregnant mamma's out there who are concerned about their baby
06.01.2022 Placenta Encapsulation Now had you asked me about this when I was pregnant with my first I would have given you that 'are you serious right now' look and scoffed...however becoming more informed Placenta Encapsulation there is actually so much more to it If you are interested in chatting to someone about it, head over to @embodhi_ and check out Cindy Cindy offers much more than Placenta Encapsulation and is such a down to earth and caring person, you will absolutely en...joy talking with her @embodhi_
05.01.2022 What is so different about Hypnobirthing Australia as a childbirth education is that it provides both mum and the birthing partner with information and tools. In fact, there is an emphasis on working collaboratively as a birthing couple to achieve a birth experience where you both feel calm and empowered. @laurenanddouglas.birth
04.01.2022 There are so many ways to bond with baby before birth... One of my favourite was talking to baby while I was driving in the car. I would talk to her about how amazing her daddy is, how excited we were to meet her and how much I appreciated her choosing us to be her parents. Sometimes I even sang to her while driving, often making up my own lyrics so that it felt like I was singing for her. It doesn't matter what you do, it only matters that you do it with love because your little bundle of joy is feeling all that love you experience connecting with them @lannkuswandi
03.01.2022 My gorgeous dining room blooms remind me of this very beautiful quote about birth by Gloria Lemay "Attending births is like growing roses. You have to marvel at the ones that just open up and bloom at the first kiss of the sun, but you wouldn't dream of pulling open the petals of the tightly closed buds and forcing them to blossom to your time line."
01.01.2022 This is one of my favourite pages in Ina May's book Ina May's Guide to Childbirth This book is something that aligns almost perfectly with Hypnobirthing Australia philosophy for birth...that birth is a completely normal physiological process for your body and I am hear to tell you that the fear around childbirth (and after birth) need not be part of your experience. Look at this amazing first time mum in this photo for proof that we are absolutely built to birth (as the ba...by is crowing might I say ). As a part The Positive Birth Program by Hypnobirthing Australia there is a component designed to help you release any fears you may have. I know for myself I had a heap of fear around giving birth but also after birth how my life would change. Some of these concerns I wasn't even aware of until after I had completed the fear release as part of The Positive Birth Program. The amazing part is though, that by removing the fear it will assist in promoting an overall feeling of empowerment in your body’s ability to birth as well as anticipation for a positive birth for you and your baby. Your body successfully grew your little bundle of joy, trust that it can also help you bring your baby into the world See more
