21.01.2022 Evening folks...... Huge thanks to the lovely ladies who told me about the $1 Jeans sale at 2nd Chance Op Shop..... Picked up a great pile of denim....... ( I wasnt greedy - I left some jeans for other folks ) Also received a new order of hessian shopping bags for me to add a touch of denim to......... This time around, due to limited supplies, I was unable to get exactly the same style of shopping bag. Theses bags are the same size and quality, the handles are the main difference. These handles are slightly longer so it can be worn on the shoulder easily. See more

17.01.2022 Evening folks..... After a very successful first Market Day for the year, Ive been busy getting things made for Market Day next month..... I have also just finished a cute little bag makeover for a lovely customer.... It was an abstract looking clutch bag with a cute pink zip... I chose insert fabric to match the zip...... My customer wanted a little bit of pretties on the outside - I found the little flower embroidery and added that.... It also has an adjustable shoulder strap - I recycled the two brass D rings from an old kids canvas belt..... What do you think folks...... See more

Funny how I get inspired to create things at the time of day I should be making dinner..... I guess eventually I will run out of denim or ideas..... - of course Im joking

02.01.2022 Well - weve finished another part of the yard makeover..... We pulled out all the grass etc from the garden bed on the other side of the house, however the dirt kept escaping onto the lawn.... A retaining, garden bed wall was needed..... We happened to have some spare limestone blocks ( thanks Mal Duncan and Dina Duncan)...... Today we played mud pies and got them stuck together...... No more escaping dirt and hopefully slow the grass down from growing in the garden bed........ Great job Phil O'Garr

02.01.2022 Evening folks..... Apparently Im unable to just focus on one thing at a time when crafting...... Ive got my regular shopping bags on the go - cute decorations to attach to others - some walking bags - shopping bag wallets awaiting the poppers to be attached - double ended oven mitts ready to be recovered - tote bags being upcycled.... I think theres a Market Day coming up for me..... Not sure if Ill get everything finished - if I dont, its OK
