17.01.2022 If you can't stand to throw away a lovely hand written card like me, than you may be interested in how I like to keep them. It started when my husband and I became engaged, and then married. Being such a monumental occasion, and given they were so beautiful, I felt that they should be displayed in a beautiful dry mount album that I could flick through. When my children were born, the congratulations cards came in and again, they were so cute, I wanted to keep them for when t...he kids grew up. This then evolved to pasting all of their birthday, Christmas and other important bits and bobs into their album. It can become bulky but tying a pretty bow around the album fixes that. My kids absolutely love going through their albums and looking at their cards. A much more beautiful alternative than a big box!

16.01.2022 When it comes to organising a beautiful space, your car is often neglected. GLOVE BOX If you have been on a long haul flight you would have been given one of these ideal sized amenity cases that perfectly fit in the glove box. If not, you can find something similar in a local chemist or $2 shop.... Travel sized goodies are available in every supermarket or large chemist these days; travel tissues, wet ones, deodorant, hand sanitiser, aeroguard, sun cream, tampons, paracetamol and mylanta are a must for me! Lip gloss and mascara - well who knows when a lady will need a refresh!! I also always keep a small notepad and 2 pens, plus all my car related paperwork in its folder in the glovebox. CENTRE CONSOLE In my centre console - hand cream, lip balm and hair brush - larger items that I may want to use without taking my eyes off the road. And most importantly - spare pair of sunglasses!! BOOT In the boot - picnic blanket, reusable shopping bags and first aid kit, plus large size umbrella. With your car kitted out with the essentials, you should be prepared for just about anything!

12.01.2022 I love these frames from School Frames! What a cute way to see how much your precious kids have grown each year, AND, they are on display, not hidden in a photo album somewhere!!

12.01.2022 I shared earlier on my page a link to the Marie Kondo method of folding tshirts and shorts and wanted to share with you a photo I took recently of a clients drawer after it was transformed. To help my client's children put their clothes away I added small labels - pjs, board shorts, shorts and tshirts. Rather than buying wardrobe dividers, I am a big fan of using shoe boxes which are blu-tacked in place. Only 2 are needed - a smaller one was used for pjs and a long one fit perfectly for shorts dividing the four segments. The massive benefit of this technique is that you can see all of your shirts and shorts at once, unlike traditional methods whereby you would have to scrummage through them, saving you heaps of time and keeping your wardrobe beautifully tidy!

10.01.2022 Most people hate when toilet paper runs out, finding it mildly inconvenient but I love it! Toilet rolls are a nifty tool for organising all sorts of bits and bobs around the house. Here is a new one I hadn't thought of before. A very cheap way to keep your cords neat and tidy and easy to locate at the same time. And don't the little decorations make a cute touch!!

09.01.2022 Hello all my fellow declutterers!! I do hope you are all healthy and well and not going too stir crazy during these harrowing times. I have a lot of spare time at the moment, so if you have any requests please let me know. I am open to suggestions on workshops, advice - anything!! 05.01.2022 More often than not when I first meet my clients, the first thing they want to do is buy storage supplies - however this often leads to accumulating more clutter in the house!! That is why I love seeing nifty little ideas like this one - a magazine rack that has been turned onto its side to store canned goods in the pantry. By repurposing an item you are no longer using, you are saving yourself the money you would have spent on storage supplies, and eliminating clutter in the process!!
