10.01.2022 Very important info if you didn't already know

10.01.2022 Hello beautiful clients We are counting the days until 5/12/2020 when the new QR code comes into effect. All you need to do is download the SafeWA app on your phone from your App Store or Google Play. Then when you come in you just scan our WR code. If you can’t or don’t want to do this, that is fine, however we still need to keep a register of everyone that enters our salon. Therefore we will enter your name and phone number manually. Let’s work together to keep our businesses open when our borders get relaxed even more with the East coast.

10.01.2022 Ain't this the TRUTH @mikkiauldhair

09.01.2022 So we're into our 5th month of defeating COVID-19. These words made me laugh But there's a lot of truth mixed in to consider. . . 1. So let me get this straig...ht, there’s no cure for a virus that can be killed by sanitizer and hand soap? 2. Is it too early to put up the Christmas tree yet? I have run out of things to do. 3. When this virus thing is over, I still want some of you to stay away from me. 4. If these last months have taught us anything, it’s that stupidity travels faster than any virus on the planet. 5. Just wait a second so what you're telling me is that my chance of surviving all this is directly linked to the common sense of others? You’re kidding, right? 6. If you believe all this will end and we will get back to normal just because we reopen everything, raise your hand. Now slap yourself with it. 7. Another Saturday night in the house and I just realised the trash goes out more than me. 8. Whoever decided a liquor store is more essential than a hair salon is obviously a bald-headed alcoholic. 9. Remember when you were little and all your underwear had the days of the week on them. Those would be helpful right now. 10. The spread of Covid-19 is based on two factors: 1. How dense the population is and 2. How dense the population is. 11. Remember all those times when you wished the weekend would last forever? Well, wish granted. Happy now? 12. It may take a village to raise a child, but I swear it’s going to take a whole vineyard to home school one. 13. Did a big load of pajamas so I would have enough clean work clothes for this week. Share this. Copy and paste. See more

09.01.2022 Hello beautiful clients. This has just been announced today. As from 5th December we will need to implement this new app. Please download it, it will make our job easier in the salon. If you don’t have a smart phone or can’t/don’t want to, we will have to manually enter your details in. Thank you for understanding

09.01.2022 Hello beautiful clients I will be in touch with everyone who had their appointment cancelled this week to reschedule tomorrow. Fingers crossed we can get back to work on Saturday. Please be aware you may not get your ‘usual’ time or day as I try to fit everyone in. Please also make sure you have the SafeWA app on your phone as this is a government directive to our industry. Also we will be wearing masks during the day as we need to remain safe and healthy. And as always, if your not well please do not come into the salon. Call or message us to reschedule your appointment. If we aren’t well, we won’t be at work either. Looking forward to seeing you all

06.01.2022 Very interested to see your answers ...mine was a dead mouse....sorry Kelly

05.01.2022 Back in November we launched the SafeWA App and requirements for contact registers at many WA venues. Since then, it's been very reassuring to see so many West... Aussies do the right thing once again. But as we've recently seen, the threat of COVID-19 is constantly evolving - with even more contagious strains around the world, and new evidence of just how easily it can spread. In New South Wales, for example, we recently saw an outbreak associated with a takeaway alcohol store - a venue not currently requiring a contact register in WA. With that increased threat in mind, we're acting to strengthen our State's defence, by making a handful of sensible, appropriate changes to our contact register system. Under these changes, more Western Australian businesses and premises will be required to maintain contact registers to further strengthen WA’s contact tracing capabilities, should it be required. From Friday, 12 February, the following WA business premises will also be required to keep a contact register for the purpose of Department of Health COVID-19 contact tracing: - retail venues (including supermarkets, department stores, shopping centres, pharmacies, hardware and department stores) and retail components of other businesses where customers are physically present such as bank branches. - commercial buses or vessels that can carry 12 or more people where different groups of people interact (party buses, wine and food tour buses, hop on/hop off tour buses, sightseeing tours, party/function boats, sightseeing/tour boats, private charter buses/boats) - public and private hospitals (visitors only - persons visiting patients, or attending meetings/lectures, couriers, and contractors) - takeaway food and beverage services - events with a COVID Event Plan (500+ patrons), and certain outdoor functions and gatherings under 500 people (e.g. weddings, corporate functions, fetes, festivals) In addition, from Friday, 12 February, any businesses already using their own QR code for registration will be required to also clearly display the WA Government’s SafeWA QR code. This will ensure that patrons are able to choose their preferred registration platform and facilitate the most effective and efficient collection of information for contact tracing purposes. Industry engagement will continue with stakeholders over the next two weeks to ensure these expanded measures are implemented smoothly. Contact tracing is one of the most effective measures in controlling the spread of COVID-19 if a community outbreak occurs and ensures potential chains of transmission are interrupted. This is a small inconvenience, but it could make a massive difference to stopping an outbreak of COVID-19. And really, it only takes a few seconds each time. Let's just make it a good habit for a little while.

05.01.2022 It's because of the hard work of Western Australians that we have been able to get our State back on track and operate as close to normal as possible. What's im...portant now is that we stay the course and keep up COVID-safe principles. Starting tomorrow, certain businesses and venues will be required to maintain mandatory contact registers to support COVID-19 contact tracing. To make the process as quick and easy as possible, the WA Government have released SafeWA, a free app which will provide businesses with a digital COVID-19 contact register system. Businesses or venues required to keep a contact register include: - Food and licenced venues (restaurants, cafés, bars, pubs, taverns, nightclubs) - Gyms, indoor sporting centres and pools - Places of worship and funeral parlours - Beauty and personal care services including hairdressers and barbers - Galleries and museums - Cinemas, theatres and other entertainment venues - Auction houses and real estate inspections - Community facilities, libraries and halls - Zoos and amusement parks - Function centres - Accommodation facilities that already have check-in arrangements in place (i.e. hostels, hotels, large camp grounds) A paper-based register system will also be available. To download the app, visit www.safewa.health.wa.gov.au.

01.01.2022 ** UPDATE ** 3-year-old missing boy James has been located in bushland alive by a family member who was assisting with the land search operation. Given the tim...e he has spent exposed to the rough terrain and poor weather conditions, arrangements will be made for him to have a medical check-up as a precaution. WA Police Force thanks all the emergency service volunteers and community members who assisted with the search. Original Post: Police are searching for a missing 3-year-old boy James in the area around Karli Rise, Yallingup. James was last seen about 7:30am today, Saturday 19 September 2020. James is described as fair skinned with blonde hair and blue eyes. He is wearing white ‘Spiderman’ pyjamas. It is believed James is also wearing wellington boots. Anyone who sees James is asked to remain with him and call Police immediately on 000. While some search resources will scale down overnight, Police will remain in the search area and continue to conduct patrols and search for James. If James is not located by tonight, the full search operation will continue tomorrow. Important message from Police in relation to locals residents attending the search area: - Thank you to everyone who has attended the search area. The response has been significant. - It is important members of the public do not venture into the bushland areas as they may inadvertently compromise evidence of where James has walked, and that could impact on the ability of trained searchers to track his movements. - Anyone who is in the area already is asked to stick to the main tracks and roads. - At this time there is no need for further members of the public to attend the location. - For those people who are already on site it is important they register their attendance at the Incident Command Post which is located at the DFES SES building on Caves Road. Post last updated at 7:20pm 19/09/2020.
