23.01.2022 Darker for winter.....who made that a thing... How amazing is this fresh dark hair!! You hear all the time lighter for summer and darker for winter, which some people choose to do, however its not a rule and this beautiful head of hair shows us exactly that! Sometimes there is nothing better any time of the year than freshly coloured dark hair. I mean is there anything thats shinier?? That even colour and the glow it gets when it's done there is nothing better!... Anyone one here love their dark hair all year round??

15.01.2022 Natural foils... The one thing we love to achieve are nice fine natural looking foils for our clients who like them like that. Its so great to see that even though our client has a really dark natural color adding some lighter foils through the top can still look so nice and natural.... If you have a dark natural color like this and wondered how lighter foils might go in your hair take a look at this for a great example!

11.01.2022 Colour Notes! Every time you come into the salon for your colour we make sure we write down what you had so we can remember every detail! If it's a great colour we can replicate it again next time, every now and then we might need to tweak what you had so this way can make small alterations to what we have written down. Then there are those times you might have had a colour and you want to go back to it after something different.... This is why we think keeping extensive records is very important and you know we are taking great care of your future hair as well!

10.01.2022 May look easy... Wow what a change for our client! I want to tell you this is not an easy thing to achieve, what im referring to here is creating an even colour out of what came in. As you can see in the before photo there is a few different tones going through there, darker roots, lighter greenish ends. Having this as our starting colour means a couple of different mixes need to be used on this beautiful head of hair to make it one colour again.... Putting a brown over the brunette roots that what we do normally as standard, however those ends were a different story. To create a brunette that is even we need to revisit the science and the colour wheel. We need to counteract the green so that we don't still have merky green ends. If we dont put this kind of thought into our work here our client would have still left with two different tones in her hair, one for the roots and one on the ends just like she came in with. We aren't just hairdresser we do a little science behind the scenes too

I think it's pretty clear spring is coming! There are plenty of people going lighter for the sunny weather we are hopefully going to be seeing a lot more of!!... 09.01.2022 Need a boost! Covid had got us all feeling a bit down and blah! Silver lining now though is we are heading into a Covid normal summer! We still have protocols in place however masks are now optional in salons (however recommended).... What we need is what our beautiful client here did, give the boring and blah a makeover with a pop of colour! How amazing is this pink and my how it has transformed this looks! Anyone else feeling game???

07.01.2022 Want to know a good way to move away from red but still have an amazing color? This is exactly it!!!! Soft and subtle but a massive change and a huge step away from red. Red is not bad don't get us wrong we love red but it is a hard color to get out of the hair. This is the perfect way to slowly remove the red but still have a great color. Yes getting rid of red will still throw some warmth and that is hard to get away from plenty of fine blonde foils really transforms the look to a warmer blonde. Perfect transition and the best of both worlds!

03.01.2022 Heard or the term bronde?? Bronde is having lightness in your hair that isn't blonde. It a lighter shade of brown through darker shade of brown hair base. Now you know this, hasn't Lara nailed this bronde look!! Check out that beautiful subtlety in the colour difference. Perfect blend!
