15.01.2022 SOLITARY PATH // On path of the therapist it is unavoidable that we will watch people suffer...and it is the way of Life that sometimes they will be our nearest whose light and worth and time on Earth we cherish do dearly. The lesson we face - that may take many repetitions to master - is that we cannot save anyoone lees. it is not possible nor is it part of the design that we may direct the decisions and circumstances of another person. And beyond that - although we may thi...nk we know what would be better or more appropriate for someone else to be experiencing - we never truly do. The lesson that hides behind all human tribulation must be learned in such a variety of colours. It is normal to be outraged and upset by the extent of pain and suffering some people must face...for We inevitably lack comprehensive explanation and may perceive injustice...and yet we feel this way only because we do not see the full picture. We do not know God’s plan. We can’t really judge what we don’t have access to fully witness. But...we can ignite own light and carry iridescence into darkness. We can pray. We can send energy. We can provide tools. We can offer support. We can hold a candle for the greatest good. All of this rests on the therapist’s own physical / mental / emotional / spiritual balance and agility.
