SELENE CELESTIAL MOON GODDESS I thought I'd share how I made the mechanical wings, what I used, story and behind the scenes ... 80% of what I use when creating fantasy looks I gather from op-shops and secondhand stores. 100% of what I create has been altered or made from scratch. This particular creation is actually a love story, "Selen" is cursed to live a lonely immortal life as she is responsible for raising the Moon every night. Take me back to the night we met, this relates to Selene meeting her love Endymon a mear mortal Shepard. They fall in love and meet every night. I attached this soundtrack to my model as she was being judged, so the judges could feel my character and her emotions. When I create there is always a hidden meaning behind the character. I put my heart + soul into these works as a way of expression. Fantasy Lash Art is about layers and layers. We spend months working on these pieces. It 100% starts with Lashes but expands way beyond. Abit about myself I decided at a young age that Beauty Therapy was what I wanted to do and left school early to pursue my career. At 17 I moved to Perth, enrolled in a full-time Diploma course in beauty therapy, 12months later graduated 15 years later worked in many salons and completed so many more beauty related courses. Now I have x3 children and number 4 only 2-3months away. It's not been an easy journey building up my skills and training, then to now have my own studio and training others while supporting my family and being a mother of x3.
