24.01.2022 What a year! I can't believe what I'm about to write - but I'm so incredibly grateful for this year! Yes, I've cried a river on numerous occasions for numerous reasons, but my heart has never been so full! Here is why... During February I was fortunate enough to fly to NZ to host my first ever International Master Class (teaching tips & techniques to another amazing cosmetic tattoo artist). Whilst there, I remember hearing about a 'virus' of some sort on the radio. Not ...long after arriving home, all international boarders were shut... phew! Soon March arrived, otherwise known as 'the month of the toilet paper shortage', which inspired me to create a Facebook video about our special 'toilet paper' facial... who remembers my daughter pampering me with this specialty? Later that month I thought my (professional) world had come crashing down when the Government closed down all personal service businesses in order to manage this worldwide pandemic, COVID-19. Suddenly, I was unable to perform cosmetic tattooing for 10 weeks. During this time, I kept in contact with my clients through Instagram posts... who remembers that social distancing facial Jess had given me? I can't say that I'll sign up for that again! Fast forward... Beauty Effects reopened, and have since hit the ground running and have finished the year on such a high! We welcomed a new staff member, Ella, who is the perfect fit for our team. She gives a beautifully relaxing facial massage and her lash lifts are on point! We also; upgraded our LED light (and have seen amazing client results!) & Electrolysis machine, introduced more high-performance facial treatments including skin needling and our very popular non-laser Cosmelan Peel, targeting pigmentation. We became the first Australia stockist of Canadian brand @membraneproductsofficial , stocking what we believe are the best cosmetic tattooing post care products to assist in the healing process. Dr Axell has DOUBLED his appointment dates with us due to the high demand for cosmetic injectables for facial rejuvenation, volume replacement & correction, and wrinkle reduction. These brows have healed strokes at the front of the brows & the top then powder through the belly & tail.
