Here is a little about Lauren: I am a 19-year-old filmmaker. I'm in my final few weeks of my Bachelor of Film degree at SAE Institute of Melbourne. I’ve always loved film and media, and have always been involved in some kind of creative project, such as acting in a small Australian television program as a young child. During my time at university, I have worked on a number of short films that have been sent into festivals across Melbourne and Australia. I have taken on the roles of Production Designer, Screenwriter, Editor, SFX/gore horror makeup artist, Director of Photography, and am now the Director of a short film of my own script. I'm a filmmaker working to earn my way into the film industry, with the goal of making it to Fox studios, Disney and Universal Studios. About the film: My script has been in the making for two years. I began working on it at the beginning of my degree and am now directing it as my final creation at SAE Institute. This short film is being aided in its creation and development by a team of talented film and audio students. It will be entered into short film festivals state-wide, interstate and if we are lucky, internationally as well. The film is being created by a crew of young creators working to make something amazing, from stunning camera work to original music.
