Unfortunately due to the latest announcement from our PM Beauty Illusionz will be closing its doors until further noticeI am absolutely devastated that it has come to this now being unable to provide your services and also this being my only income. Although this is a drastic change I do believe it is for the best and hopefully we can do our part to 'flatten the curve'. 18.01.2022 Hi Lovelies! Just keeping you all updated. As per my last post I will not be reopening at least until schools go back as I have my daughter home with me. With regards to opening due to changing restrictions there are still clairfications to be made as to which areas of Beauty therapy are allowed to reopen - Tanning, Tattooing and Waxing is not allowed until Stage 3 but I am yet to confirm which stage Lashes come under as it hasnt been specified. I believe there are also stri...ct guidelines including Covid safe plans to be submitted and put in place for beauty salons and visits from Council environmental health officers to view your premises following the covid plan if you are to open prior to Stage 3. As you can imagine this will all take time so I unfortunately cant give you all a definate date just yet The health of my clients, my family and myself are my number one priority when it comes to reopening so as we are working in such close proximity with clients it is important that we are being as safe as possible. As soon as I know more I will update again here x See more

17.01.2022 Hi All! I am getting a large number of enquiries regarding reopening - unfortunately as far as I am aware, Queensland still has a restriction for Beauty Salons and fines for those operating, although some states have allowed reopening and some other similar services have also reopened. As soon as these restrictions have been lifted for beauty salons and schools are back + numbers of infected cases remains at zero then I will reopen with procedures in place to keep us all safe. I will post here on Facebook and Instagram as soon as we are open, looking forward to seeing you all! Xx

Please DO NOT attend your appointment: If you or any close friends/ family have even the slightest Cold or Flu Symptoms - Anyone showing symptoms of Cold/Flu will be refused service. If you have been in... contact with anyone who has had a positive test for Covid-19 or been in Quarantine after a positive test. No Family/Friends/Children are permitted to attend appointments. Please Sanitize your hands at the counter when entering. Mask wearing is encouraged as we are so close to each others faces so please feel free to bring one if you have access to one. 05.01.2022 So so important for so many reasons, and the first of a few lash tips to come! Brush and cleanse those lashes ladies A little Info: The build up of makeup, eye crust and oils around the base of extensions is something that doesnt generally happen overnight and not something you can see on your own eyelashes, but once its there it is hard to break it down (and trust me I see it) This build up causes the glue bond to break down over time so you either lose lashes off each ext...ension or lose the whole extension. It also causes lashes to stick together which means when each lash is ready to fall out, it cant go anywhere. So it will stay hanging there to the lash it has become stuck to annoying you until your next infill. Lack of cleansing can also be damaging to your natural lashes/lash line/eye health, as a build up of dirt and oils can hold bacteria and cause infections. Extensions also wont bond securely to lashes if they are dirty, so arriving to your appointment with them squeaky clean will ensure a strong hold and avoiding me cleaning them also = extra lashing time Water unfortunately doesnt take off make up and oils alone, especially around extensions so cleansers are the way to go Brushing your lashes also helps to keep them from getting tangled in each other which can also become super annoying, so a gentle brush once or twice a day should keep those girls in line.
