25.01.2022 So the new year has begun! For anyone who has ever done health pointe 2.0 before, you'll know the strange emotional roller coaster that is your first 3 days. Day 1 begins and you start out with one single serve of protein. You feel like you've never seen a smaller portion of food in your life and you think "how am I going to survive the next 6 weeks?" Then you remember you get to eat again in an hours time if you're still hungry. So you savour every mouthful and survive! ...:) As the day progresses those on double x multi vitamins are amazed at how much energy they still have even though you feel like surely you haven't eaten enough to warrant this energy level. For those on the daily multi V you feel a little lethargic but you set your goals only a couple of days ago so you're feeling determined. Then day 2 rolls around. The scales have made an impressive drop and you feel like it's all worth while. This program must be the one that's going to change your body in the right way! By the afternoon you finally get into Ketosis and you find this amazing alertness behind your eyes and a power surge of energy! You feel like you could run a marathon! :) Day 3 you're bouncing off walls with all the energy in the world but you would kill for a piece of fruit or veg. The thought of another bit of chicken or another protein bar is just not satisfying. You didn't think you liked oranges until this day when you walked past a cafe and saw them cut one open to juice it. You consider walking in and offering to buy their entire days stock. Then you remember how far you've come and how tomorrow you are allowed to eat an orange (although you'd much prefer a strawberry ) and you make it through the rest of the day. Day 4 the scales are still impressively moving you're getting the hang of this and you start to think... can't I just have another protein day? I can't be bothered cooking toast and the scales are loving my recent choices! Well no. It is really important to start introducing a more well rounded diet with fruit, veg and grains. Unless you want to strictly diet for the rest of your life but from one foodie to another. What is the point in living if you can't eat treats!!! Well. .. if you've read this far you've either done the program or you want to . Don't be a stranger. The more the merrier!!! :) xx
