02.01.2022 26/01/2021 What are lash infills? - Infills are individual lashes or fans that fill the gaps in your lash extensions which appear after 2-3 weeks, due to the natural shedding of lashes. - A full set of lash extensions will look great for the first few weeks, but as a result of the natural lash life cycle and general wear or tear (particular those who sleep on their front or side), the lashes will start to lose their original look. This is why infills are a must for those... who want to maintain their lashes for longer. How do lash infills work? - Your lash artist will apply infills to the gaps in your lash extensions. By getting infills in between your main treatments, you can keep your lashes looking fuller everyday, without the need for a full replacement set. - Infills also make sets less expensive and quicker to apply. How frequent is a new set required? - If decided not to get your lashes infilled within 2-3 weeks of your initial appointment, your lashes may have grown out past the point of an infill. - As you approach week 4, it’s time to start thinking about a fresh set of lashes instead of infills. Why? Because by week 4, your lash artist would spend the same amount of time applying infills as creating a new set of lash extensions from scratch. ** You can book a new set if you have extensions on - just inform lash artist to allow extra time to remove existing lash extensions.
