05.01.2022 KIRRAWEE - Building Fire, Princes Highway CLOSED Emergency services are currently on scene and further resources responding to a large industrial fire occurrin...g now. The fire has broken out two buildings east of McDonalds and across from Kirrawee Brick Pit. The building is believed to be 555 Princes Highway, housing businesses such as Sutherland Shire Auto Centre, Ostomy NSW Limited, Cronulla Car Sound and Shire Pet Warehouse, though does not house any animals, products only. Firefighters are beginning to gain the upper hand of the blaze and is not believed to have impacted neighbouring buildings. The Princes Highway in both directions is CLOSED between Oak Road and Bath Road as firefighters work to control the blaze with loud explosions being heard from suburbs away.
