25.01.2022 Which one are you?

25.01.2022 Most gym owners and marketing agencies...

25.01.2022 In one door, out the other... Are you struggling to grow your fitness business, even though you're great at sales and bringing new members in? Do your Challenges have people flooding through the door, only to see them leave 4, 6 or 8 weeks later?... Do people cancel their memberships citing reasons that leave you scratching your head as to what went wrong? This might be why... 1. You have no "Client Induction Process" - the very process used to set your clients up for success in your fitness business. 2. You don't have a "Client Care Program" in place - something used to support members and keep them accountable over the initial 30 day critical period in your business. 3. You're not using a buddy system - used to pair existing members with new members so they make friends sooner, rather than feeling on their own and isolated! 4. You have a distinct lack of Social Events and activities - provides members and staff the opportunity to mix, mingle and get to know one another. 5. Your culture sucks! - There is no celebration of results, progress, special occasions or events among members or staff, and a lack of interaction from staff who would rather watch their phones and take booty shots than encourage, interact and care for members! Times have changed and our industry is ever evolving. In times gone by, clients achieving results was our #1 retention tool as a fitness business. In current times, it's the quality of customer satisfaction and experience in our business that is key to retention and your long term success in the industry... Are those who have cancelled or left your business in the past 30 to 60 days trying to tell you something???

25.01.2022 IF YOUR GYM IS FORCED TO CLOSE, DO NOT IMMEDIATELY SUSPEND ALL CLIENTS!! They need to remain fit and healthy. They still want the community and social interaction. And your business still needs to pay bills!... . By default, you should announce that you are shifting everyone to your remote program/community at X discounted rate. That's the option you focus on. Suspending and letting themselves slip is not an option and you shouldn't mention it! (Unless the individual specifically pushes for it at least) . Online fitness communities will be one of the only fun things people can do while in lockdown. Give it to them! If you want a copy of our expert crafted announcement email, just drop a line below

23.01.2022 The fact that these very people are wanting to get moving and become better versions of themselves is a wonderful starting point! Nurture, encourage and make their experience one that they cannot get enough of

23.01.2022 How is everyone working through the current situation that is upon us?

20.01.2022 What are your New Year predictions for the health and fitness industry in 2020?

19.01.2022 We've been a little quiet on here, so let's ramp things up!! What's been your best "client success story" to date in your career as a personal trainer?

19.01.2022 Congrats on a solid past 3 days, Adam Mather!! The MaxFit Performance crew is growing by the day!

19.01.2022 Hey Crew! Hope it's been a great week for you all!! Are you minding your own business??... Seems weird that I would ask such a question, but what do I mean? Are you tracking the important numbers in your business? Leads? Bookings? Show rate? New clients? What we track, grows.. and as importantly from our viewpoint as your support team, it also allows us to help you fix any "holes that may be in your bucket" ;)

19.01.2022 This may be a very good starting point for many of you in 2020!

17.01.2022 Anyone else feel the same way??

16.01.2022 Regardless of the contradictions between state and federal governments on outdoor training right now, prepare to take your business 100% online in the coming days. With the measures being put in place around the world, and our cases here in Aus still climbing, prepare for our society to follow similar lockdown measures. We will get through this and WILL come out the other side stronger. People still need our support, their community, their fun and some level of normality to their days. This is what we can provide - be the lighthouse!

16.01.2022 Well worth the read and certainly something we can use in our continued quest to educate the general public about prioritising their health!

16.01.2022 Why did you become a personal trainer?

12.01.2022 The Successful PT? Does this sound familiar? 4:45am wake up, hit snooze just 5 more minutes... 4:50am run through shower 4:55am get dressed in the dark 5:00am Coffee machine on, make coffee, grab shake and run out the door 5:10am - drive to Studio 5:30am first client of 5 for the morning 9:30am have coffee #2, train yourself 10:30am FB post as I walk out the door of the Studio 11:00am home and coffee #3 for the day 11:30am eat lunch while posting on Instagram 12:00pm make some calls, pay some bills, hope someone messages about needing training! 1:00pm "Nanna nap" 2:00pm hit the shower, get dressed, have coffee #4 as you walk out the door 2:30pm arrive at Studio 2:45pm clean / vacuum / wipe over equipment in Studio 4:00pm first afternoon session, 4 for the evening 8:00pm lock up Studio and drive home 8:30pm dinner while posting on FB and Instagram and following up client texts 9:30pm bed Then repeat 4 days over! Although you have the support of your members, you feel like you're doing this alone. Your weekends are spent recovering from the 80 hour week that you've done. Holidays are non existent because, "Who will take care of the Studio and my clients?" A day off is a rarity and you feel like you're prisoner to your business. It's a passion of mine to help personal trainer and fitness business owners build the business and lifestyle THEY want and I'm privileged enough to do this day in, day out right now. Many of the clients I help started in the exact same spot you're in right now - but have now learned a better, more productive and enjoyable way to building their business and pursuing their passion. If you'd like to learn more about the very step that helped them make that change and take the first step, drop me a comment below

11.01.2022 Businesses don't do business. People do. Next time you sit for an assessment or consultation with a new prospect, remember this very point. The rapport building and "getting to know you" element of your consultation is THE most important. It is your opportunity to build "know, like and trust factor", by finding out things you have in common with your new prospect. It allows you to demonstrate care factor by being genuinely interested in them, their trials and tribulations, an...d goals. Also keep in mind that human connection is equally as important to members who have been in your business for 5 minutes to those who have been in your business 5 years. After all, we are people who want to be loved, respected and feeling part of something "greater".

11.01.2022 How’s the form?

02.01.2022 What was your biggest WIN in 2019?

01.01.2022 12 months.... This is widely accepted as the average lifespan of a personal trainer in the health and fitness industry... Why?... Below are just some of the many reasons... 1. They don't have clarity as to what they want to build as a business 2. They don't know or have the business acumen to build a business - because they have never built a business before! 3. They don't do the work required 4. They burn out, because they are using a business model that is outdated and requires far too much time for the income they earn 5. They miraculously avoid burn out, but struggle to transition because their business systems and training methods are not simple or effective to scale their business. I'm sure some of you reading this right now can relate all too well. Which number, or numbers, best represents you?? We work with personal trainers around the world to become clear on what they want, work with them on the "how-to", hold them accountable to do the work and put systems and measures in place to ensure long term sustainability and success in our great industry. We also understand that there are so many more trainers out there, struggling with one of the above issues.. So, to help more fellow trainers out, we've created a simple tool that is the FIRST step to ensuring your long term success in the industry.
