It has a balance of protein, complex carbohydrates and healthy fats with plant fiber, vitamins and minerals to fuel your body. 16.01.2022 Hi guys i just wanted to touch base and share with you some of my health and wellness tips to support a strong and healthy immune system! I will be sharing these with you each day this week! Number 1 ~ REDUCE STRESS! Stress wreaks havoc on all the body systems, sending the body into flight or fright response. If the stress response is prolonged all day, everyday the body doesn’t get chance to relax and repair and this decreases the immune system. ... The number one advise that I give to my clients to reduce stress is MEDITATION. First thing in the morning is a great time for meditation as your thoughts aren’t yet activated which makes it easier to to drop into a relaxed and peaceful state. Simply focusing on the breathe flowing in through the nose, down into the relaxed belly centre and the long slow releasing breathe out. Following this method for 15 to 20 minutes morning and evening with have profound benefits on your physical and mental health. Your body will be able to return back to homeostasis, balance and heal. Your mind will be calm and emotional responses will be less reactive and more responsive. You can diffuse beautiful essential oils, keep a gratitude journal, have some of your favourite crystals close by to create a sacred space for you to come back to and enjoy each day! It’s really important that you don’t go on your phone during this time, it will draw you out, when you want to be going within. Wait until at least you have finished your practice.
