22.01.2022 Yay I have another blue just look at the face!
20.01.2022 I was able to catch 4 birds from a family members aviary. A Dutch Blue (unsexed) an Orange head Palid (female) a mustard yellow (unsexed) and an infant olive green (pelvic check Male) the birds spent yesterday and overnight in a cage inside the aviary to introduce them to the flock and I have now opened doors for them to let themselves out. The infant olive will stay in its own cage so I can keep an eye on him in case I need to bring him inside. let’s hope I make a true pair with these birds! That blue is beautiful
19.01.2022 Nest update Abel and Aliza have 4 happy healthy babies that I have started to bring inside as the oldest is 4 weeks on Saturday. Looks like the Aqua colour has come out strong with 2 looking like that. Other 2 still too young to tell. Mr and Mrs bubblegums eggs have been hatching with 3 hatched so far.... Also a new pair (unnamed) have stared laying with 1 egg so far. Can’t wait to see if they are fertile. This pair is a mustard yellow and a Dutch Blue.
18.01.2022 So I was wrong!! Coco and Chanel’s babies are green. Which means one of them come from third generation greens. Green is the dominant gene so any colour bird that breeds with a Green will give mostly green with a 1/3 chance of throwing their own colour genes in to the grand babies.

09.01.2022 Me & Mrs Bubblegum Mostly Give me light coloured Pieds with white, cream, yellow, violet and blue. I have kept a sibling from a previous clutch and now that they are older they are very shiny and looks like a pearl in the sun. It’s quite beautiful. You don’t need bright colours to have a beautiful bird. Honestly, I don’t see these mutations being sold a lot. It’s green, yellow and blue mostly. Get adventurous. Jump on my wait list!

07.01.2022 This one girl continuously gets out. How? Not a clue. BUT she can also get back in. It’s been a month of In and Out In and Out. At first I was stressed. Now I’m helping her love her best life.

06.01.2022 Today I am so excited! I will be getting some more of the peachface variety and hoping they become true breeding pairs. In the near future I will be looking at retiring Abel and Aliza (move out of the aviary into their own cage with no box) I’m getting some blues, yellows and more olives
