I would like to publicly congratulate my grandmother Railea for winning the cover competition for this magazine in 1949! 21.01.2022 Review:Mouse pad - So we needed a mouse pad for my daughter's home schooling. She wanted to design one as she didn't like any of the store patterns. It turned out really well. The material is not that plastic stuff, but soft top and grip underneath. My only complaint is that i'd love it to be bigger!! Maybe they will offer a large size in future... overall really happy! 04.01.2022 It's been just over 3 years since my grandmother passed away. She was the creative matriarch of our family. The rest of our family is mostly comprised of doctors and lawyers. My grandmother taught herself to sew at a young age and worked as a seamstress for the rest of her life. She made many outfits for family members, as well as her many clients. Her business card is a sign of the times, she was a self made business woman however her own name isn't even on the card. She was Mrs R, her husband Mr M. My own daughter has inherited the creative gene too, also a leftie like my grandmother. Today I'm remembering my wonderful and talented grandmother Mrs Railea Baffsky nee Goldring.
