23.01.2022 Happy Friday! How has your week been? Mine has been a little busy, so I’m really looking forward to my two sessions this weekend. I love being a photographer - I get to hang out with great people, learn about their stories and what is important to them, and take beautiful photos of them in their happy place. Amy and Andrew’s family booked a session to celebrate Amy’s birthday a few weeks ago, and I couldn’t not add these lovely photos to their gallery. 22.01.2022 Hooray! I’m now more available than ever before! I have worked full-time since finishing school. I moved out of home and got married at 20, and threw a business into the mix at 23. I love my local government job, I love being in my home, and I love taking photographs... but there’s just not enough hours in a day to do that all on a full-time basis. Something’s gotta give! An opportunity came up at work where I could reduce my hours. I chose to take this up so I can focus on m...y business and be available for my clients, and build this thing I’ve got going into my dream business! It’s going to be tough for sure. We don’t live an extravagant lifestyle, but we alllll got bills. A little rejigging of the spending habits isn’t a bad idea either I’m determined to make this work for me financially, and to keep serving my amazing clients with value, high quality photographs, and fun, meaningful and engaging sessions. 21.01.2022 I went to the same high school as Zeppelyn and Vader - they were in the grades below mine, and being a pretty small school, it wasn’t hard to spot these blonde-haired, blue-eyed beauties around. To be honest, these sisters were absolute GOALS - I’m talkin’ pure mermaid vibes! We all got our first jobs at the grocery shop around the same time and worked tonnes of shifts together... but I never really got to know them that well. But I can tell you that first impressions are nev...er wrong. I got to hang out with their whole family yesterday at the beach, and it’s easy to see that being kind, honest, goal-driven, and super chill is just how this tribe operates. Even the weather brightened up in this family’s presence! Showers cleared and revealed a cleansed sky with beautiful colours for the entire duration of our session down on the beach. 16.01.2022 I spent this afternoon with Nykeeta and her family down at the beautiful Theodolite Creek. After previously postponing due to bad weather, we were treated to the most gorgeous clear blue skies today with water to match - it was meant to be! Thank you for a lovely session x

15.01.2022 9 things you probably knew about me but I’m going to tell you anyway 1 - I was born on Valentine’s Day, which happened to be the rainiest day of the year. Ten inches of rain fell that night and we lived in the bush, 20km of dirt road between us and the nearest town, which was still 20 minutes from the nearest hospital! Sorry mum! 2 - I got engaged at 19 to the nicest boy ever. We celebrate our five year wedding anniversary in three weeks! ... 3 - I am the second youngest of five siblings and we are all very close, even though we all live far apart, all across the countryside at the moment 4 - In my spare time I love to ride dirt bikes! Currently I’m riding a YZ250F and I like to think I can keep up with my husband on the tracks... 5 - I work for my local government as an Admin Officer part time. I love my job and the people I work with! 6 - I love being in the garden! There is something so wholesome about growing food for yourself that is free of nasties and full of love. I’m always buying plants before I have a place ready for them and someone else in my household isn’t always a happy chappy about that - sorry, not sorry, husband 7 - If I could move to any country in the world for free, it would be Hawaii. That place just speaks to my soul! When I was younger I wanted to be a pro surfer! 8 - I have three chickens and a cat. The chooks’ names are Bonkers, Pineapple and Princess Cordelia. One of them likes to crow when they want food... but they are definitely a hen. The cat is named Ellie, and she is a Russian Blue who gets me up at 4am every morning to be let out, without fail 9 - These nine photos encapsulate my true personality perfectly, so when you book a session with me, you could get any one, or all nine Now the question is... if your ideal photographer could have one personality, what would it be? 14.01.2022 Me: LOOK AT THAT SUNSET JUST LOOK AT ITTT Also me: *would probably risk life to take a good photo* Dusk has always, always, ALWAYS been my favourite time of day. I think there’s something so absolute and satisfying about watching the sun setting. No matter what has transpired during your day, the setting sun offers closure, encased in brilliant hues. ... I have travelled 1100km’s in the last 48 hours or so and I just had to stop on the side of the Moonie Highway ( road trains!) to capture this beauty yesterday. Tried my hand at some very low light photography soon after on Surat Developmental Road. Promise I went right back to roo watch after I got the shot! Turns out... photos look amazing at sunset. That’s why it’s called golden hour after all! Generally (but not always, I’m easy!) this is when I love to schedule in your sessions, and with summer on the way, golden hour is definitely turning it on!
