23.01.2022 L + M ~On Valentines Day 2020, I was lucky enough to marry and attend the amazing wedding at @goldingwines_weddings for Lana and Manu. From the heart melting moment of their nieces and nephews walking down the aisle, to the laughs and (happy) tears throughout the ceremony, to the Lebanese drummers and dancers, through to Manus family performing the Haka...I can honestly say this is a wedding that I will forever cherish! 22.01.2022 E + B ~Wow, where to start with these two! Em and Ben are the ultimate team, and getting to learn about their relationship over drinks at the Stirling all the way up to their big day in March was thoroughly a joy! Whist the day went off without a hitch down at Em's parents house on the river, I think my favourite moment was seeing Ben's face when he first got to see his girl for the first time.... 22.01.2022 Who's the wally that's been harping on for the past 3+ weeks saying "Tonight's the night...I just have feeling" Well I'm 40 weeks tomorrow and this babe must know the mornings are far too chilly to join us just yet! On the plus side, if I have received my couple's relationship quiz (which is one of my favourite things to read), that means my upcoming couples for 2020 and 2021 have a ceremony to ponder over and a solid timeline in place that involves a catchup ...over wine ~YAY~ or coffee ~ESSENTIAL~, plus dates for wedding rehearsals and goal dates to have final ceremonies and legal work competed! (Side note- is there a thing called work nesting...as I'm sure I have it ) For all new enquiries, please feel rest assured that I am happily still taking on bookings for late 2020, and for 2021 + 2022! 21.01.2022 After testing out the new equipment today I am very glad I invested in the Bose PA, Senneheiser microphone and a kindle. Everything is so easy to use so I can focus on the couple, and have complete confidence that every guest can sit back and relax to clearly hear the couple's love story!!

14.01.2022 Special Words ~If you are looking for ways to include a person very dear to you in your ceremony, a great way of doing this is through inviting them to share some 'special words'. I would love to work with you on finding the perfect words for them. Seeing the way the guest responds to being asked to share some special words is something I will never tire from...it is such a privilege and it's so nice seeing how much it means to the bride and groom having them play a part in their wedding day~

05.01.2022 First wedding season completed...and what a SUCCESS! ~To me...success means doing something that at first thought, quite frankly scared the shit out of me. The self doubt and fear of failure certainly popped up from time to time, but what always brought me back to reality was thinking about my 'why'...each and every wedding has taught me so much, and whilst all have been special in their own individual ways; one thing remains constant.. you can't fake that first look when... you see your partner for the first time, the emotion from the proud parents, the buzzing atmosphere before the bride arrives, the heartfelt vows, the overwhelming joy of becoming husband and wife...and to be apart of that has been more rewarding than I could have ever imagined. Today I married a lovely couple with two witnesses, and I'm sad that it's going to be some months until I get to do it all over again..but that just proves to me just how much I LOVE what I do. 01.01.2022 Thursday looked a little different for us...I wasn't in my Mum uniform AKA active wear Florence came along to a wedding rehearsal for an awesome couple I get to marry this weekend! I can already tell it's going to be a special one I'm still not a pro at asking couples for pics with me so this one will have to do. But this picture sums up life at the moment...big smiles from Flo, a tonne of love, with a blended combination of mum and work life. Sometimes it looks very s...eparate and organised, other times its using the car heater to dry my hair on the way just to time the drive for Flos sleep.
