24.01.2022 Well yesterday's result was not the one I wanted to have but it is what it is and now for rest, recuperation, rethinking and rebuilding. Meanwhile a huge thank you to friends, family, local members and volunteers and those old mates from outside Wyndham who travelled to help us out here. You people are just amazing! I really appreciate the support given to both my campaign in Tarneit and my fellow candidate Jay Dessi's Werribee campaign. You really helped us so much. I also owe the biggest thank you to my indomitable campaign manager, partner and best friend Bro Sheffield-Brotherton. You've worked so hard as always .

22.01.2022 Shorten, Plibersek and Wong were tripping over themselves on the weekend in their eagerness to roll over and join the COALition in waving Adani through. The people must now stop the lot of them. Join the webinar tonight and spread the word.... #StopAdani #OnceandForAll

21.01.2022 Vandalism by governments and the Murray Darling Basin Authority. Trashing the environment for expediency and monetary gain hurts us all in the long run. Who wants to bathe their little children in that colour water? Who wants to drink that?

14.01.2022 Record breaking temperatures at both the high end and the low end in different seasons and different hemispheres may not seem to be related at first glance but read on...extreme weather events result from global warming. It's good to see that climate change is foremost in many people's concerns now and the sooner the denialist's message is muted the better. We have no time to waste.

13.01.2022 Its been a busy year this year and next year will be too. Looking forward to a peaceful and productive 2019. Have a Happy New Year and enjoy a relaxing summer. See you in 2019

12.01.2022 So great to hear from such an articulate young person who understands that climate change is not something that will wait ...

11.01.2022 ThIs tiny booth in Tarneit is expecting about 1/4 of the voters of the next smallest booth. Don't have resources to staff it. Hopefully this will work a bit.

09.01.2022 Climate change plus mismanagement/rorting plus unsustainable industries -see cotton and mining equal human and animal suffering.

08.01.2022 Schoolboys playing at governing us while our priceless environmental heritage is destroyed. The lump of coal that these barbarians were sniggering at is a fitting metaphor for our precious environment that they were trusted with. Richard Flanagan is right the barbarians weren't outside the gate but inside the building. You know the words of the Joni Collins song "we don't know what we've lost till it's gone". Indeed .

07.01.2022 Needs other measures as well, but win-win. #WorthExamining

03.01.2022 Today I attended the declaration of the poll for Tarneit District and I made a wee speech. Below, apart from a few ad libs (mainly to congratulate Sarah Connolly on winning): #BringOnTheFederalElection... ______________________________________________ Thank you for giving me the opportunity to speak. Thank you VEC staff for your hard work and for running a polling booth where interactions were positive. The same can be said of the candidates and volunteers at this booth. I’ve volunteered in a few elections now and this was the most enjoyable in terms of everyone getting along. This was a huge help in being at a site where mixing traffic and people made life stressful. A better site next time must be a priority. Werribee I hear unfortunately did not have everyone playing nicely but thanks to those who did for it is important for us as a community to support the democratic process. Since we returned to this part of the world in 2009, Bro and I have been the only repeat attenders apart from VEC staff at Tarneit Poll Declarations. I hope some others will develop this positive habit. Early voting makes it possible for most people to cast a vote for their preferred candidate at a time most convenient to them and I think that is a really good thing. What I would like to see and think it’s important for democracy lovers to campaign on is the abolition of the Group Voting Tickets and the practice of preference whispering. These obviously can produce manipulated, magical and mysterious results that do not reflect the wishes of voters. I would be surprised if these are gone before the next State Election but I am quietly confident that they will be in the dustbin of history in eight years’ time. Anyway, I’ll be working on it and I won’t be alone.

03.01.2022 I really like this plan. It's making solar panels affordable for low income people.

02.01.2022 #Schools4Wyndham says "We’re concerned that the Coalition has made no commitment to build new government schools at all. "Our research shows we urgently need more new government schools to meet burgeoning demand across Wyndham, which is one of the fastest growing areas in Australia."... The Coalition has, however, committed to repairing and building new Catholic and Independent. #WeNeedMoreGovernmentSchoolsNow
