07.01.2022 The plie [pronounced PLEE-YAY] is the easiest ballet step to learn and the most difficult to master. Even our most senior students are still learning how to do this step, and they use it every. single. lesson.

03.01.2022 Even our tiniest dancers are beginning to learn first position this term. But it takes years to achieve even the simplest-seeming positions and steps. There is SO MUCH more we learn at ballet than footwork... including taking turns, self-discipline, coordination, musicality, spatial awareness, core strength, balance, flexibility, muscle tone, strength, perseverance, team work, self-confidence and MUCH MORE.
