24.01.2022 You are unique. You are you - there's no one else exactly the same as you are.... If you cannot accept yourself as you are, then you have to know exactly what you want to be and be committed into transforming yourself (and it won't happen overnight). YOU can change what you can't accept about yourself. I'm not talking cosmetic surgery - I'm talking about your mental attitude. You are as strong as you want to be. Be who you want to be. If you are having trouble accepting something about yourself, you need to stand up and remember that ONLY you are responsible for your life. If you allow others to influence you, that was YOUR choice. If you always base your choices on what you feel then you will never have any problem in accepting things YOU have done. Learn from what you have done and KNOW you will not repeat the mistake. You learn more from your failures than of your successes. 23.01.2022 & Caffeine stimulates your nervous system and can cause rapid heartbeat and increased blood pressure. It can also interfere with sleep and digestion. Keeping caffeine to a minimum and cut it out in the afternoon and evenings can really help. Alcohol may calm you down in the short run, but it can cause stress by stimulating the production of stress hormones.... Alcohol also can affect sleep. Minimise or cut out alcohol completely, and make sure to stop drinking in enough time to get it out of your system before bedtime. Refined sugar causes blood sugar spikes and dips. These dips can cause irritability and poor concentration. Make sure to eat plenty of foods full of nutrients and that do not cause your blood sugar to spike and crash. High sodium foods cause you to retain fluids which caused your heart to work faster increasing your blood pressure and draining you of energy. 20.01.2022 Believing in yourself is often touted as the cause of success. Yet, if you have low self-esteem, it’s not easy to believe in yourself. ... You may struggle to step outside of your comfort zone and look for a way to make your life better. You may believe that you don’t have the means to better yourself or that you don’t deserve a better life. You can change your life and it starts with believing in yourself. Yet, first you have to identify what’s holding you back. This week’s video holds the top three common self-esteem killers that can keep you from living out your true potential. This is a common feeling, especially in the digital age. Seeing your friend’s good days can leave you feeling like you’re a failure because your house doesn’t look clean all the time like your friend’s house is. When you’re on social media, you’re constantly exposed to the best side of someone’s life. You rarely see the ugly parts, too. The past often shapes us and affects us far more than we realise. Negative situations in your past can make it hard for you to believe in yourself. Maybe you were in a toxic relationship with a partner who verbally abused you. Maybe you grew up with an alcoholic parent or maybe you were bullied in middle school. It can take a toll on your self-esteem and crush your sense of confidence. Just like you can switch your iPod to a different song, you can change your thoughts. It takes work and it doesn’t happen immediately. But as you focus on your positive qualities, you’ll experience a boost in your self-esteem and find it easier to believe in yourself.

19.01.2022 To let go, first, you must identify the reasons you are feeling the way that you feel Those feelings which are arising from the 'thought' of letting go. Are you feeling angry?... What aspects make you angry? (this may be more than one thing) Are you feeling disappointed? Which parts disappoint you, specify. Are you blaming yourself? What things did you do and shouldn't have done, or didn't do when you should have. Are you afraid of something? For example, giving up, failure, change - be as specific as possible. When you break everything down into bite-sized chunks, things become easier to swallow. As individual items, you can start to work out ways to bring the positive back into your life. So, If you are angry, work through the anger. If you are feeling disappointment, work through why and settle each and every aspect of it. If you feel like a failure, work through what you can do to make better things in your life. All those things which you want, you can achieve elsewhere if you care to look for it.

It’s actually a selfless act because when you feel calm, nourished, and relaxed, you not only feel better . . . you’re more inclined to be kind and help others.... The most overlooked of the work/life balance supporting practices is taking care of mind, body, and spirit. Self-care acknowledges the importance of rest and relaxation; me time or downtime is a vital component of our life experience. And without self-care, we can easily get sick and tired. Regularly scheduled time for personal care will also keep you from procrastinating during your workday. So instead of waiting for your next headache, and/or sore throat, take some time out to nurture yourself each day. Here are some great ways to rest, relax, and restore: Give your body 10 minutes of undivided attention in mindful meditation (either lying down or sitting). Use the body-scan technique to check in with your body. Notice how you feel. Breathe deeply. Allow for at least 4 healing breaths to enter in through your nose and out through your mouth. As you breath out . . . sigh to release any stuck or unwanted energy. Play your favorite dance music and get up and boogy. Let loose and have fun! Take a power nap in the sunshine. Stretch your body and/or go for a walk in nature. 12.01.2022 ? Evelyn was angry with the world. Her husband of sixteen years had cheated on her with her best friend and left her. Her children were struggling in the aftermath of the separation. At the same time, she got laid off from her job and had to begin searching for new employment all over again.... The content she consumed all seemed to confirm that life was a dark, dreary place. If so, it’s time to give yourself the most important gift ever: Self-love.... Self-love is your secret weapon to living a fulfilling life. That’s because your inner world creates your outer world. 09.01.2022 Feeling Out of Control? Sometimes, before you even know what’s going on, you can find yourself feeling angry, weepy, or tingly with excitement. That’s part of your body responding to your brain releasing hormones.... Yikes sometimes it seems as if you can’t control your feelings that’s because feelings are often instantaneous reactions caused by your brain triggering chemicals called hormones that course through your body. The amygdala (ah-mig-duh-luh) is a small part of your brain scientists believe is responsible for the way you feel AND the pituitary (pi-too-i-tare-ee) is a tiny, pea-sized gland in your brain that releases hormones. As your body changes through stages of life, hormones changes and so the good news is Your amygdala and hormones don’t act on their own another part of your brain called the cerebrum (ser-ee-brum) works with the amygdala to help manage emotions it’s the thinking part of your brain. 01.01.2022 . ' If your decision to let go is made from the heart, then you won't actually look back. If you are trying to let go, or looking back then your decision it's coming from your head.... That is to say; If you have made a decision from your heart to do something, if your heart is true to moving forwards then, there is no need to look back. Your head, your mind, your thoughts kick in because of outside influence trying to get you to look back. IF Every decision is based on what you feel at the time then there is no need to look back. Except maybe a few years down the road when you can say 'Thank Goodness for that' If it's coming from your head; and you feel yourself reaching back - there is a reason for it. If it is your head, mind and thoughts saying let go, but your heart simply cannot let go, you need to remember what you truly want. This may be unresolved issues, or a basic need being unfulfilled, but there is always a reason why your heart struggles to let go.
