25.01.2022 Sep 7, 2020. Rework of a photo processed in 2015. Everytime it came up on my screen slideshow I thought just too saturated. So here is a rework. But that rock really glows in the sun. Uluru, The Centre, Northern Territory

24.01.2022 Time out for processing one photo a day as it's the big push on my Murray Calendar. cheers ALL

24.01.2022 Sep 15, 2020. I was fascinated with both the weird flowers of WA and the shadows formed by the strong sun. Here on a black mining pipe in an old mining area.

23.01.2022 Sep 11, 2020. Zircon greeting you at the gate. I'm busy with photoshopping a couple hundred dogs for the Murray River Retriever Calendar that I'm about half way through, so todays photo is one of Zircon saying why are you out there and not in here.

21.01.2022 Sep 16, 2020. Fields of wildflowers Western Australia. Bit of experimenting here handheld focus stacking. Not great, but a bit of fun and learning.

19.01.2022 Sep 17, 2020. ICM Pinnacle and Bush.

18.01.2022 So I'm about ready to start back to doing a photo a day processing. I do enjoy it. My MMR dog calendar is done and I've started a new job, but it's casual only as they need extra help making maps. So I worked nearly a full week and now nearly 3 days off. I hope they get lots of new work to need me more often.

17.01.2022 Aug 31, 2020. More Western Australian Wild Flowers. White puff in front of purple puffs.

16.01.2022 Sep 21, 2020. Wave Rock. Small Oasis due to crack funnelling water off massive rock. I feel I need to work on this one more, but bed time. I'll post the surrounding environment tomorrow. Unsure if native flower or weed, anyone know?

16.01.2022 Sep 20, 2020. More wild flowers from the Stirling Range, WA.

15.01.2022 Sep 9, 2020. Delicate Pink Blossoms from Sue's Tambourine Mt garden.

14.01.2022 Who was there for Serena's workshop here in Brisbane back in 2015. That evening I was privileged to catch her performance (photos in bottom section). This year it's online for all to join in. So to all my belly dance friends world wide, join us online. check it out www.serenadances.com https://www.facebook.com/events/349883756370746

12.01.2022 Sep 2, 2020. Indian Paint Brush, TX. ICM with a solo bloom merged on top.

11.01.2022 So I've a Christmas gnome that has been investigating my garden. So many photos to come in the next week.

10.01.2022 Sep 6, 2020. Lobelia at my front door.

10.01.2022 And the big news is, just found out today. that one of my photo entries to the Pano Awards nature amateur contest got a Bronze Award. Yea. That's not 3rd place but 76/100 points, somewhere around top 25%. Well below the top 50 that are presented on their web site. Points on other photos got close but not over the line to bronze. 3060 entries in the amateur this year. It's well worth taking a look if you like landscapes and cityscape/building photography, some spectacular photos.

08.01.2022 Sep 18, 2020. Bark, Metal, or Rock?

07.01.2022 Sep 4, 2020. Sycamore Tree, bare branch tracery, pods and a few red leaves. Autumn up at Mt Tambourine, My friend's place is 5C or more cooler than down here in Brisbane so the area has some lovely Autumn colour. From a walk we took end of June. Too bad, it's starting to warm up again, but nights are still getting below 15C so sleeping is ok, but we've started up the aircon again.

07.01.2022 Sep 10, 2020. Another delicate bloom from Sue's garden. I'm back up to her place this weekend and hope for more photos.

04.01.2022 Sep 22, 2020. Wave Rock - The Wave. Bottom cut off to exclude other tourists. Such a cool rock.

04.01.2022 Sep 8, 2020. White Poinsettia and ferns growing wild along the road. This was taken end of June same time as the Sycamore tree with the few remaining red leaves that I posted a couple days ago. To my northern hemisphere friends, I always find joy in those plants that should only be seasonal house plants growing rampant outside here.

03.01.2022 Sep 5, 2020. Snowdrop I think. From a friends garden up on Tambourine Mt.

03.01.2022 Sep 12, 2020. Fern Frond Abstract. Sun shining through a curly edged Bird's Nest Fern with overlapping fronds.

02.01.2022 Sep 3, 2020. Indian Paint Brush, TX. ICM 2 layers having the same motion slightly different colour temperatures and then blended using lighten blend mode and experimenting with blend if.
