22.01.2022 Morning everyone!! Hope you all have been staying safe and well! As most of you all know already, I left Jims Dog Wash late last month.... Many of my more long term clients have messaged me over the last 24hrs saying have they received text messages from Jims Dog Wash saying they are live in the area and offering discounts, I understand that this has been unwelcome by many, funny to others and hard on those who have recently lost their fur babies but still follow my page. Please be aware that the messages were NOT sent by me, some people got multiple messages all day yesterday, I can understand how annoying that would of been and Im sorry it happened, those I told I was leaving over last month I did warn it could happen, I was not expecting bombardment tho, I suspect a technical glitch in the system they use allowed this to happen, at least thats what I hope Nothing changes my friends, Im still kicking around and happy as ever to pamper my lovely pooch clients, more updates on changes and down times coming up so watch this space Love to you all Bec

So with so many uncertainties surrounding the CONVID 19 situation and the ACTs dramatic increases over the last few days, we are in the process of changing the way we do things, today will be a trial day and if it works the way I Hope it will, I will roll it out, all clients that are booked in for this week will be contacted via text this afternoon, and I will post it here also, due to the ever changing government recommendations we will be proceeding week by... week, I ask that if you are sick please reschedule, our family has direct members who are at very high risk, so we wish to do everything we can to keep ours, and by extension your, vulnerable family members safe from this growing pandemic!! Some time ago I introduced Henry, he was extremely anxious about the whole situation, would lay down and tremble, couldnt use the blow dryer all over etc, so we fast forward not even 12 months and hes happily jumping in the trailer and straight in the bath, jumps up to the table and last week stood for his drying without his ear muffs on and he was happy enough to chat to me which hes never done before!! So proud of how far he has come, it now takes me less time to get him done completely than it took us to get him in the trailer the first time!! ** first pic he is in the process of sitting for treats

07.01.2022 Hi everyone 2 bits of house keeping for the first day of the month... Firstly..... We have made the decision to close our books to new clients at the moment, we currently have a 6+ week wait with just our regulars and a growing cancellation list! Secondly.. We are having a price increase of $5 per groom (clip/deshed) as of today, for any new clients who booked in the last few weeks for September and beyond, we would of quoted the new price, if not I will inform you at the time of your appointment of the new price for next time, short haired washes will remain the same price for now. 03.01.2022 Ok people, here it is! With the health and safety of everyones family and friends front and center in our minds, we have decided to suspend the mobile service, Im still grooming, just at home for the time being, I have a very small number of clients who this does not work for due to them self isolating due to health or age. I am contacting them directly to work out something that suits them and their health needs. We are arranging a safe drop area and protocol for those wh...o wish to keep their appointments over the coming weeks, each and every client will be contacted and their appointment discussed in the day/s before, since this situation is changing almost daily, we are constantly reassessing what our clients need us to do, I totally understand if you wish to postpone till this all settles down. Payments made in cash must be correct money as there wont be change, more than happy for direct deposit. If you or anyone in your home is sick please reschedule, vets have advised that viruses can be passed on via the dogs coats. As for what Im doing in the trailer to keep you all safe once your dog returns to you, every surface is disinfected after every dog, the dog will go straight to the bath unless they are excessively matted and need shaving first, in this case the surfaces will be disinfected again once the dog is in the bath, including any equipment that was used on them, I will be using hand sanitizer regularly, any crates or cages the dogs are in will be disinfected once they leave and left in the sun until needed again, a bag will be available to put cash in to and hand sanitizer available for you to use if requested. If you have special needs due to health etc please discuss these with me and Ill do my best to work with you to get your dogs done. If Ive missed anything please ask, remember theres no stupid question!! Stay safe, keep social distancing and we will come thru the other side of this pandemic together! Bec Xx
