23.01.2022 Not every day has to be your favourite day, not every day has to be the day you chase your dreams and live life to the fullest, but every day is truly a gift. Nothing days are sometimes the best way to make the days count Today wasn’t a nothing day for me though, it was my first full day back in the office. Missed my little love SO much but good to get the cogs turning upstairs!

22.01.2022 Posting again because this couldn’t be more relevant right now raisin toast is getting a flogging in the house at the moment!

20.01.2022 Today I was thankful for everything I have and I also made Anzac biscuits for the first time. Ive been spoilt with mums amazing ones all my life so I was nervous for how they’d turn out as I’m definitely no baker. They are bloody delicious! So nice and soft and chewy. I swapped the butter for half Nutellex half coconut oil and did half brown sugar and half stevia using the traditional recipe. There was also no golden syrup at the shops (go everyone getting your bake on ) so used treacle and it still came out great. Are you a biscuit flattener or do you leave them in a semi ball while they’re hardening and cooling? Lest we forget on this day to reflect and be grateful.

18.01.2022 There’s no better reason to use social media right now than to keep up the amazing work everyone is doing donating to the bushfire crisis in Australia. There are SO many great places to donate to help our amazing fire fighters and emergency services, our wildlife as well as those affected by the fires. Here’s some great ways to donate and feel free to share more in the comments. Most profiles have donate links or are easily found on their websites. Another great place would b...e local shelters like @animalaid.vic @cfavic @nswrfs @sa_countryfireservice @qldfire @dfes_wa @tasmaniafireservice @redcrossau @foodbankaus @foodbankvictoria @wildlifevictoria @warriors4wildlife @wireswildliferescue @portmacquariekoalahospital @salvosau (Head to insta for direct links) See more

18.01.2022 Todays baby meal prep is adult friendly too! I made turkey meat balls and Rick and Stevie both tell me they’re great. I grated pumpkin, zucchini and carrot then chopped onion and spinach leaves. Added that into the turkey mince with an egg, polenta, Moroccan spices and some grated cheese. ... I shaped into balls and oven baked them instead of pan fried as I’m paranoid about an uneven cook/raw centre. Less oil is a nice win too! I cut the leftover sweet potato and pumpkin and topped that with Moroccan spice and roasted for some easy finger food when a quick snack is needed. Once again I have no idea on portions sorry! If I was making them purely for adults I’d probably add in chilli and bit of garlic too

17.01.2022 Green porridge and figs has been my staple breakfast of the past fortnight. It’s so yummy even if it looks a bit extraterrestrial! I mix a teaspoon of greens powder and a tablespoon of vanilla protein powder in my porridge and cook with unsweetened coconut or almond milk. Then top with sliced figs and a dollop of coconut yoghurt. It’s soooo yummy. I love all kinds of porridge and will be mixing it up over the next fortnight. The figs will feature for a while yet

16.01.2022 Meal prep looks a little different these days This weeks baby meal prep: veggie and fruit purée, making pancakes and sandwiches for little hands. So much fun watching her eat though! I had the pancakes too but added protein powder and coconut yoghurt on top to bulk it up. I found sprinkling coconut on the pieces of banana made it easier for her to hold too which is a fun tip. Stevie has the same breakfast pretty much every morning with her berry mix in her porridge with some peanut butter. My go to meal for her when I can’t think of anything is scrambled eggs with whatever veggie purée I have on hand. She’s moved away from the purée a bit now so trying to throw it in with anything to make use of it. I’ll get some of my meals up here next time but for anyone interested, this is what my baby meal prep has been the last week

16.01.2022 I have been loving soup lately! I finally put on my big girl pants and made this recipe that mum usually makes me because you know I’m 33 now and everything it’s so hearty and delicious. Smoked paprika, need I say more?

16.01.2022 Soooooo it’s been 3 months since I’ve posted on this public page, but we’ve been working hard before all this craziness hit. Update. I’m now 19 weeks pregnant with number 2 and will be using this page for more of a what I’m up to from a health and fitness point of view than any promotions. So for those keen, have a follow and I’ll post videos, food and anything else Health related. Here’s a home workout you can do using a coffee table, sturdy chair or step. Add in weights for the leg moves where you have them too! Pregnancy safe and low impact Oh and minor detail, complete 10-20 reps of each move

13.01.2022 Except it’s now Friday and my hair is actually glued to my head now I believe. I used to be a twice a week gal but really testing my limits and washing once a week I know it’s good for your natural oils etc and man do I hate drying my hair so really the only down side is the fact that I look terrible. But who’s looking anyway here’s to being a grot

12.01.2022 So annoying when that happens nothing worse than bad chips or bad pizza

12.01.2022 It’s the perfect time to be downing copious amounts of comforting teas and coffees but unfortunately it’s the first thing I get turned off from when pregnant. I miss my cups of tea so much and have tried to give them another go here and there but they just make me feel sick. I’m not sure if it’s the caffeine in tea as I usually drink decaf coffee anyway. Who knows. But the other downside is I’ve been having delicious hot chocolates to compensate: like 3 a day so I’m giving fruity teas a try today. Fingers crossed I find my new drink soon that’s not laden with sugar!

09.01.2022 Wednesday is Jackie and Jordy day for me at Vogue Fitness and also play time for Stevie and Holly while the mums get a workout! Jordy is the best, she loves ‘smashing her mum’ at all the moves and being the strongest in the room. She also cleans up the room for me! What a great client I love having the little ones in

05.01.2022 I don’t meal prep much anymore but one thing I do make every week is Stevie’s berry puree. She has it every morning with her porridge and has done so since she was a little bubba. I also use it instead of jam for her as a sandwich spread and it’s nice for me to add with yoghurt for a little snack too I put about 1cm of water in a pot and then free pour flax meal and chia seeds in. If I had to guess I’d say 1-2 tablespoons of each. I then add about half a teaspoon of cinnam...on and few drops of pure organic vanilla essence. Can leave out cinnamon and vanilla for the little bubs. Then I slice up an apple and add that to the water and seeds/meal mix in the pot. Let that cook for a couple minutes then I add in about a cup of frozen organic berries. If i have any other fruit to use up I add that in too. Once the apple has softened a bit I let it cool a while then blitz it all up in the NutriBullet and pop it into jars. Freezing a couple and one in the fridge all done The chia and flax meal are a great source of healthy fats to get into her breakfast every day plus has the added benefit of thickening the mix up. Fruit is obviously good too!

05.01.2022 It feels nice to feel nice. I love feeling strong and having endurance. They’re my reasons for training. I need to work on my reasons for why I’m strong enough to say no to the peanut butter bread after dinner because I’m currently failing in that department but I’m moving well. I was scared for how I’d feel about my body post baby. I was worried I wouldn’t like what I saw and I’ve a pretty good relationship with my body the last few years I didn’t want that to change. T...he hardest part was just that awkward week 5-17 phase of pregnancy where I just felt sick and pudgy. But I was lucky enough that my mind stayed positive and strong after giving birth. I liked what I saw in the mirror, even though it was much different, flabbier, thicker. I felt proud, strong (but technically very weak!) but overall good and focussed on my recovery and regaining my fitness. I didn’t (sometimes still don’t) like how I looked in clothes though. Everything fit different, looked different I just felt yucky and flat in clothes. So I wore looser things and went a size up so I wasn’t struggling through my wardrobe with muffin tops and not being able to breathe which definitely helped. But for the most part, I felt good and my priorities and outlook on what made me feel good changed anyway. I can’t remember my point and I’ve probably now word vomited a novel but yes, it feels nice to feel nice. Now to work on those late night snacks How bloody delicious is my beach babe too melt central. See more

04.01.2022 Just bumping along into week 22 this week I love the last half of pregnancy SO much more than the first half. Lucky to be feeling good

03.01.2022 How much of a lift are sunny days like today! Makes everything that much better and for me more productive. We had two walks today and I’ve just committed myself to 30 days of yoga at 6am. Even if some days I only get in 15 minutes that’s ok! I didn’t get through the full session this morning as Stevie woke but it was still a fabulous start to the day and better than nothing. I’m doing the 30 day home challenge by Yoga With Adriene. I love her videos. I hope you all enjoyed the sun @adrienelouise

03.01.2022 I’m nearly finished my 30 day yoga challenge! I’ve done yoga every day for 35 days now but haven’t done the actual challenge yoga sessions for a few of those days. I’m loving having an achievable non negotiable goal/activity in my day that makes me feel great and uplifted. It’s definitely going to be here to stay even if it’s just ten minutes

02.01.2022 A good way to make the most of light dumbbells when working bigger muscles like the legs is to increase your time under tension by doing pulse reps or slow reps. Give this workout a go doing 20 reps of the leg moves and 10-15 of the arms and abs. The ab moves aren’t overly pregnancy friendly if you weren’t already doing ab work before. Drop planks to your knees as shown and change the in out ab crunches to cat cows. Have fun!

01.01.2022 I took this video at the start of iso for what I did that day to share for a ‘home’ workout. Yeah real helpful Bec, you’ve only used a TRX, barbell, bench, box and dumbbells. Everyone has super easy access to do that at home. I am a moron. I also got my camera angles perfectly right to show how to do a trx push-up and skull crusher. Enjoy guys. I’m sure you’ll find this super ‘helpful’. maybe once iso is over you can do these at the gym though

01.01.2022 I posted this 2 years ago now but it couldn’t be more relevant at the moment. While some are forced into a hiatus, it doesn’t mean that down time is a waste or you have to be bettering yourself every day by taking up a hobby, doing home improvements or whatever it is weighing on your mind you’re not doing. If being productive makes you genuinely happy (I like to have a little achievable to do list everyday- it really helps me) then go for gold. If some days all you have time or the energy to do is look after yourself or look after your children or household, then that’s still a massive win too
