23.01.2022 Do you have any of these symptoms? Fever or chills Cough Sore throat Runny nose... Shortness of breath Loss of taste or smell Get tested for coronavirus (COVID-19), even if your symptoms are mild. How to get tested: 1- Call your GP clinic for an assessment. Your doctor will give you instructions on what to do next. 06.01.2022 Many GPs in South Australia are concerned about the impact of COVID-19 and isolation on chronic health conditions. Dr Emily Kirkpatrick, SA Health’s GP Liaison..., is one of those GPs and she has a message for all South Australians. Speak to your doctor about whether you can have your regular check-ups through telehealth or over the phone. If you have a health condition, it is especially important that you stay connected to your doctor. Speak to your local GP about developing an action plan that will help you manage your condition if you get sick. Pharmacists can also give advice for colds and flu like symptoms. #KeepWellKeepConnected with your GP or health care provider. www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/keepingwell

02.01.2022 [HEALTH ALERT] There is a significantly higher risk of COVID-19 in South Australia due to the current outbreak in Victoria. So what can you do to help stop... the spread? 1If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, no matter how mild, you need to get tested as soon as possible. 2If you know someone with symptoms of COVID-19, kindly encourage them to seek testing. Once you get a test, please return home immediately and wait for your results. If you receive a negative test result, you should still stay at home and not attend work, or school/childcare until you are feeling well again. Visit www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/covidtesting or call the COVID-19 Information Line on 1800 253 787 to find a testing location.
