25.01.2022 Bedford Junior Cricket Club also has a thriving girls' cricket program. All girls aged 4 - 17 can register regardless of cricketing experience. This year we alr...eady have girls registered for Junior Blasters, Master Blasters, Under 11s (years 3, 4 and 5) and Under 13s (years 6 and 7) - and we can accommodate older girls in Under 15s and Under 18s too. If you're not sure about joining, come to our registration day on Saturday 5 September between 2pm and 4pm and watch a demo match between our fierce Under 13 girls and talk to the girls' coordinator. 23.01.2022 Just a quick update after our committee meeting tonight, we will have some further information about the new helmet standard required for cricket helmets from next year, but if you are purchasing a new helmet for this season, please make sure it is compliant for next season. 23.01.2022 Girls’ cricket is well and truly alive at the BJCC!! Did you know that we have the second largest girls’ cohort in the Central Junior Cricket Association thanks to the tireless efforts of our Girls’ Cricket Coordinator, Danielle Lustig?? 21.01.2022 Attention members!!! We have re-opened registrations for our Junior and Master Blaster programs at the discounted rate of $65 for the remainder of the season!!! The season recommences on Sunday, 31 January 2021 for six weeks (finishing on Sunday, 7 March 2021). Tell all your friends!!

21.01.2022 2019 Finals for 13s - 17s Congratulations to our U13 White and U14 teams for making their age group finals series. Unfortunately the U14s didn't progress past the semi finals but the U13 White team is in the Grand Final starting next Saturday. Congratulations to Daniel Pinelli, Tim Heal and team. If you want to show your support for our club get down to that game, which will be over the next 2 Saturdays. Well done boys and good luck.

20.01.2022 Urgent Notice - games cancelled on Saturday this weekend. Just a notice to all Bedford members, that all games this Saturday, the 14th December, have been cancelled due to the extreme weather forecast and advice from the overarching cricket body, the CJCC. In these decisions we need to consider the welfare of the kids playing and parents officiating as our top priority.

Details below, but there is a form that needs to be completed, so contact the club if you want the form. ... Tuesday 8th Friday 11th January 2019 Hillcrest Reserve 9am to 12pm each day Age groups 5 to 14 Years (Boys and girls welcome) The clinic will include instruction by accredited coaches and current district players covering all aspects of the game, including: Batting Bowling Fielding Cricket etiquette and knowledge Plus, a match on Day 4 & personalised player report Cost $110 (including morning tea and drinks) Players are to bring a hat, drink bottle & their cricket kit (some extra equipment will be available if required) Registration for the clinic, including payment, must be received by 28th December 2018.
