22.01.2022 Really sad day for our small stable today with the passing of The Real Wasabi. He wasn’t our fastest horse but you definitely wouldn’t find one who tried harder than him. He was the life of the stable always up to no good provoking whoever lived beside him over the fence, destroyer of rugs, always looking for a carrot and always in your face. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the wicks family who bred and raised him against all odds when many had written him off as a young horse. Rest easy little mate

21.01.2022 Big night Friday night for the stable hopefully we can get a result

17.01.2022 What a race. A bit of drama in the Traralgon Cup with new placings decided after a protest. That didn't take away from No Effort's effort. A fantastic win in the Cup.

13.01.2022 Sir kalahad enjoying a bit of a freshen up after his trail last week down at lauriston thoroughbred farm in preparation for his next run at Caulfield on Boxing Day he’s an older horse who is thriving with his change of routine and environment

Sir Kalahad in race 6 @ 3:55pm stepping out over 1100m after a freshen up in what looks a small but very competitive field Good N Fast in race 7 @ 4:25pm making his debut for the stable in what looks like a even race after some encouraging jump outs. ... Best of luck to their connections.

12.01.2022 Great to get the stables 1st Saturday metropolitan win today at Caulfield with recent stable acquisition No Effort. Having only her 3rd run for the stable we thought she put the writing on the wall with an encouraging run to finish 3rd at Moonee Valley last start and were quietly confident of a big run. Big shout out to Her owners Ross hennessy, Jeff Kemp and the whole Cooper family for entrusting me with their horse while her usual trainer and part owner Allan Cooper battles some health issues we hope todays win can be just what the doctor ordered

11.01.2022 And where on the board at the Melbourne premier yearling sales. picking up this cracking colt by Inference out of the unraced stratum mare Road to rio who’s a 1/2 sister to multiple stakes winning First among equals. Inference needs no introduction the striking son of So you think was the winner of the Group 1 Randwick guineas at 1600m before further placings in the Rosehill guineas and VRC Derby. We loved this horse from the moment we set eyes on him with his big loose walk and flash looks to match. Get in touch he won’t last long

10.01.2022 Another purchase for the stable today in the form of stakes winning son of Sebring GOOD 'N’ FAST. A 5yr old who’s already a dual Flemington winner with earnings of 325K and a 4th placing in a Caulfield guineas. Hoping a change of scenery could be what this fella is after to get him to recapture his best form. Already a few shares sold so be quick to get involved in the stable. We provide regular audio and video updates and do our upmost to keep our owners well informed and up to date on the progress of their horses. 08.01.2022 Big day for our small stable being able to bring home the Traralgon cup with our ever reliable mare No Effort. She never lets us down and always gives 110% every time she steps out. Given a ride from Daniel moor to beat a handy field in a very strong renewal of the race. Big shout out to Daniel Schmitt who rides her in her gallops and my family in Karen and Jaz and our staff shirly and Dot these results are not possible without all your hard work

08.01.2022 Unchain my bike has arrived this afternoon and looks in fantastic order. Really looking forward to getting him into the stable after a nice break after a big 1st racing preparation 10% still available for anyone interested

07.01.2022 Couldn’t be prouder of our courageous mare No Effort last night going down by the narrowest of margins in her search for back to back Pinker Pinker plates gallant in defeat and honest as the day is long she’s pulled up fantastic and we can’t wait for her next run

07.01.2022 After a pretty lean run of late the stable came out swinging today at Sandown with Sir kalahad making a mess of his rivals to record a 5L victory aided by a fantastic front running ride from apprentice Harry Grace. Sir K has been a great pick up since joining us in December making it 5 runs for 3 wins. Many thanks to our supportive owners and our staff

06.01.2022 Last night we headed to pakenham racing club with Floreat Pica stepping out to the 1600m for the first time since joining the stable and he didn’t disappoint getting up in the final stride! Aided by a great Michael walker ride he was able to overcome a slow tempo and really knuckle down and get the job done. Congratulations to all his connections many who are first time owners

04.01.2022 Today we have purchased the former Lindsay park trained 3yr old son of Hinchinbrook out of the group 2 winning mare Velasco 'FLOREAT PICA’ a winner of a maiden on Cranbourne cup day last year beating metro winners call me shamus and royal crown. He has form around stakes preformed horses such as Brooklyn hustle, yes yes yes, riddle me that, she shao fly, banquo and group 1 winner prince fawaz. We believe a short break and a change of scenery could be just what this horse is ...looking for to reclaim his best form. With recent success with tried horses such as city winning 3x winner Sir kalahad and 3x winner Allageri now is a perfect time to get involved in a young enthusiast stable with the aim of keeping our owners involved in all areas of our stable. A few shares available so get in contact with Gavin on 0403 204 736 or DM us to find out some more info See more

02.01.2022 What a great way to start a Tuesday

02.01.2022 Great to keep the momentum going with the lightly raced 3yr old JUGS coming away for a soft win at Yarra Valley today. Aided by a peach Brian Higgins ride he controlled the race, kicked on straightening and never looked in doubt. It was great to see his owner Shane Loughnan make the trip down from port douglas and we are glad it was worth his while. He’s definitely one to follow coming into the winter months.

01.01.2022 After a couple of hot and humid days and a busy morning of gallops yesterday morning it was great to get some of our horses down to Monomeith Aquaciser, Pre-Training & Agistment for a recovery session we find it very therapeutic for our horses and they really enjoy the change of scenery too
