06.01.2022 About Us Welcome to Bedtime Buddy Mittens, our product was created by the mother of a child who through sucking her thumb, started to disfigure her baby teeth. Everywhere they went the child took comfort in sucking her thumb. As a thumb sucker when a child herself, the mother looked for assistance in breaking the habit before the daughter ended up with the same long term damage to teeth that the mother still lives with. Traditional methods of trying to stop her daughter fro...m sucking her thumb had failed, and there was no simple, cost effective and child friendly solution available. So through trial and error, the Bedtime Buddy Mitten was born. The daughter took to the mitten very enthusiastically due to the bright and colourful designs, and she is no longer a thumb sucker. She is now a happy and bright eight year old and has no problems with her older teeth being out of shape. All of the mittens are handmade in Cairns, Queensland, by the mother of this child and this is now a family owned small business. The mittens are fun, comfortable to wear, easily washable, and most importantly they work! I am the Mum and can testify to their ease and success, and I am proud to be assisting other mums with the same problem.
