21.01.2022 Another season in one of my favorite gardens. Its Hollyhock season and there's a forrest of them

21.01.2022 So Im in the thick of the pruning season roses and fruit trees in particular. While its been great to see the rain its made it a bit difficult to apply the fungal sprays, but Ill get there

20.01.2022 A month after I finished this garden, I've popped back to see how its going. The plants have grown and starting to flower and despite previously being a kikuyu lawn there hasn't been regrowth. The metal borders are doing their job of defining spaces but are discrete enough not to dominate. Thanks to Brad Halleday from Cornerstone Masonry and Building for the concrete work.

18.01.2022 Today, beeing creative has meant a bit if trimming - Small hedges taller trees and climbers. And what a beautiful day to do it

16.01.2022 Todays job is weeding a client's vegie garden. I hope to get on top of the weeds before they go so seed. This space is for onions, broad beans and peas. The cabbages, cauliflowers and broccoli are in the background.

09.01.2022 Well its been awhile since posts, but to day is 22 degrees with a gentle breeze. Mount Gambier's had regular rain and the weeds love it. Heres a view from my current job. Ive been focusing on weeding and suddenly looked up. Ill enjoy the view for a couple of seconds, straighten my back and get back into

09.01.2022 While on the subject of weeds, weeds are only a plant in the wrong place. Kikuyu makes a great lawn but once it gets into garden beds it becomes a weed. Creating a boundary, be it a hard border or just a trimmed edge helps define weeds from plants.

07.01.2022 In one of clients garden there is always colour. The 1000 bulbs have bloomed and faded and now the 1000 rose buds are blooming forth. Even on this dull spring day. The garden is glowing.

07.01.2022 So the first magnolia flowers for the season

05.01.2022 Bee Creative Gardens is a garden maintenance and design business established in Mount Gambier in 2016. It is a complete service for those people who love their gardens but don’t necessarily have the time or energy to have their gardens looking at their best. It is a service tailored to your needs as a gardener and/or a garden owner. So look for the Bee around town.

03.01.2022 Today, Im mulching. Mulch helps to keep a moisture in, suppresses weed, and rots down over time to improve the soil. It can also help your garden to look good by providing a uniform base to show your plants off. Gravel, pine bark, wood chips, bio-mulch... There's a wide range depending on your purpose.
